If it wasn't for Nintendo making the N64's controller, we would still have been in the primitive stages of the 3D controller. Sega did something with the DC and online play, because less than 20 years ago, it was considered a PC thing only to do that. They did it first with their ideas, but others improved on it. That's my point.

I miss full on expansion packs. Not this "Oh we gotta get this shyt out on release date quick and whatever we forgot to put in we can just sell it as DLC 2 months from now and charge $15 bucks." type shyt. I mean the "Man this shyt could have been it's own game and it's full of content." type shyt.

I dont mind remakes, LOU was worth it to me, since it was my fav game last gen and my file on ps3 was corrupted...never beat GTA last gen, so I got it this gen....I really wish we could have a new Conker tho....we need a new Conker....

Well AAA is gonna get hit really hard. But Mid-Tier developers and the young independents are finding life on PC. Japanese developers are finding life on PC (Ys developer Falcom said that PC sales were way stronger for the IP than on any console.)

This is the year that consoles will get hit hard. A lot of people will migrate to PC.

I don't mind remasters of old games. But when you are re-releasing games that are only 3 or 5 years old, I can really do without it.
Remakes like Last of Us and Fable are stupid to me. Then there are games like Res/Evil which are remakes of remakes... come on already.

If they want to remake Chrono Trigger or Twisted Metal 1 or Blast Corps or something... go right ahead. But remaking 360 games for XB1 or PS3 games for PS4 is lame.
There are games that are amazing that are 10, 20 years old. Remake Zelda 2 or something...

Rule of thumb, if its new enough that the people who own it haven't even lost the manual yet, it doesn't need a remake.
