It never happened because Drake's management shut it down. And he didn't offer to battle Mook due to his relevance in the battle scene. Matter of fact, before his management stepped in the sole reason he wouldn't battle Mook is he hadn't won against Tsu Surf. Drake's whole excuse was "he's not on my level, battle-wise".
That's why I can't take you fools seriously. You don't even know what you're talking about.
And if Jay can reply to fukking Meeno, I don't want to hear excuses about "the guy on top can't reply to random bums". Now go Google Meeno, which just proves my point.

Case in point, the cognitive dissonance created by y'all trying to pretend Drake is under some kind pressure to engage Joe buddens in this publicity stunt imaginary battle he's pulled out of nowhere. ..
want to know the real difference between this situation and the meek one? People actually gave a fukk about Back 2 Back and it had a real impact that put real pressure on meek to respond...that was a legit moment that mattered ...nobody actually gives a shyt about this buddens track...the arbitrary time limit shyt was stupid and was some microwave era shyt, but whether it was a couple of days or a couple months....meek had no choice but to respond, the record was everywhere and was actually the hottest song in rap for a time. ..now granted he rushed some shyt out, it didn't register and he ended up catching a L that he still hasn't all the way recovered from anyway..but he wasn't in any position to ignore it..if Back 2 Back didn't exist 2015 would've went down as a banner year for Meek...the album did big numbers, he and Nicki was hip hops "it couple"...back 2 Back dropped and derailed all that shyt ..

If drake ignores it, it's of no consequence...the "beef" dies as it's some made up shyt Budden conjured up for promo that only has juice if drake entertains him....buddens talks about it on every episode of his podcast for a month or whenever he finishes the promo run for his next lil mixtape or album or whatever it is...and rap smarks use it as a talking point during the daily cry about drake on the Internet routine...but as far as actually having any effect on drake at all or his standing in the game or the real rap populace at large giving a fukk at all, it'd mean nothing. ..it'll die and go to "baseless attention seeking diss track from struggle rapper towards a rapper that actually matters" heaven with the likes of that Papoose diss to Kendrick and any other number of random diss no one gave a fukk about a week after they dropped
And with all that said I'd bet he still responds, when he feels like it. ..he'll have to stop gallivanting around Europe fukking rihanna soon, the tour with future starts in a couple of weeks...ovofest is at the end of month...imo he'd be stupid to give buddens even a second of pub, but I doubt he can resist reliving that victory lap moment roasting meek at last year's ovofest. ..I expect a jab of some sort to be out by then
