The ring argument is so fukking stupid. A TEAM wins a championship not one individual player. If you don't have a good to great supporting cast you aren't winning shyt. I've seen Lebron and Kobe be the two best players in the NBA for a number of years and not even make the finals.

The only years you can make a case that Kobe was better than Shaq are 03 and 04. Anything before that you are fooling yourself.
Kobe starting in 2001 was better in the regular seasons and had better runs through the Western Conference playoffs.....Shaq dominated the 76ers and Nets.
