After lebron wins the '13 finals and finals mvp he'll have 2 titles as the leader which is the same amount kobe has.Even tho lebron will have 2 finals mvp's at age 28 and kobe had 0

If lebron wins another title :whoo: those jordan debates will get intense.

:Ididnttouchit: I never said he'd be in Jordan's class, the "rings" argument was something I never used, to me he's an all-time great (Top 10) but grossly overrated by his fans. For me it always came down to the fact he just wasn't as good as you all said. And lets keep it 100, you can't be better than the man you're trying to be, just like anything else, the more copies of something you make the lower the quality will be :ld:

:ohhh:

The ring argument is so fukking stupid. A TEAM wins a championship not one individual player. If you don't have a good to great supporting cast you aren't winning shyt. I've seen Lebron and Kobe be the two best players in the NBA for a number of years and not even make the finals.

Ring argument is silly.

Kobes been the best player on the Lakers since 2001.

Hes won 4 rings as the man imo:manny:
No he wasn't.

Shaq was better in both 01 and 02.

The only years you can make a case that Kobe was better than Shaq are 03 and 04. Anything before that you are fooling yourself.

Kobe starting in 2001 was better in the regular seasons and had better runs through the Western Conference playoffs.....Shaq dominated the 76ers and Nets.

IMO of course:manny:

IMO of course:manny:

2001 Regular Season

Shaq: 28.7/12.7/3.7/2.8 on 572 FG%

Kobe: 28.5/5.9/5.0/1.7 on .464 FG%

2001 Post Season:

Shaq 30.4/15.4/3.2/2.4 on .555 FG%

Kobe 29.4/7.3/6.1/1.6 on .469 FG%

2002 Regular Season

Shaq: 27.2/10.7/3.0/2.0 on .579 FG%

Kobe: 25.2/5.5/5.5/1.5 on .469 FG%

2002 Post Season:

Shaq 28.5/12.6/2.8/2.5 on .529 FG%

Kobe 26.6/5.8/4.6/1.4 on .434 FG%

You are delusional if you believe a 22 and a 23 year old Kobe who wasn't even in his prime was better than a 28 and 29 year old PRIME Shaq. Kobe was a top 3ish player both years, but he wasn't better than Shaq. That's crazy talk.
