who knows what i missed out on.

I had to think about it, but there were always 'rooms'. I don't think you could download without being in one, but I didn't know about the private ones. I also don't think you could 'chat' while in one, but I could be wrong.

Songs downloading in 3 seconds.

i mustve been in elementary school at the time. back when Windows updated from 3.0 to 95. I didn't have t1 or t3 but used to search for uploads with that connection thinking it was faster.

yep, P2P DL'ing meant you had to be on point.
2000-2002 was a non stop virus nightmare for me.

i was the only one with a computer in my apartment during college and my boys would stay on my joint downloading porn and god knows what else.
i carried my computer a mile to the tech center at my college so they could fix it.

dude said i had over a thousand viruses.
i asked him how i got them and he just hit me with the + + combo.
