I was just in my last year of college around that time. It was terrible for me due to a lack of great income and no real investments. Crazy thing was, I was on the bitcoin wave a couple of years later, had some issues, bounced, and it was a big mistake.
The only L was I had maybe 1k to invest. I went to my father's broker, he was like, it's not the time, man I regret listening to him. Stocks were ass low and I could have made at least 5 figs. That would have been startup capital.
My father brought another business around this time period. It was suppose to be for me which we sold a short time later but man...

if I only knew how the world worked back then. I would not have taken it for granted.
It wasn't terrible. Business was slow I wasn't struggling. I think it was extremely hard to start in a career. I couldn't get in the door nowhere. I only got in due to a business customer who my mom was like, he's looking.
I was too young back then. At 21-22, if you are not on an elite track, you are probably extremely immature. Add the poor economy and ugh.
Honestly, I don't think things improved that much. Even though the stakes are higher than ever, the amount of volume has severely dropped. I think it's worse now than 2009 for the mass population in terms of young college aged people.
