There was this guy who used to write ghost written lyrics from any artist imaginable and it would seem like some sh1t they'd really spit on a record...

I forgot his name on the Nas board but he posted on SOHH as Stu the Top dog or sum sh1t.

Homie had a thread breaking down the science behind all Nas's album covers but it disappeared forever when sohh went to the upper room....

Damn! Y'all took it back with this one. I used to post on there all the time as a teen. I found out about it after reading my Stillmatic cd booklet. My name has even been mentioned in this thread already lol.

You had to be on there to understand how crazy it was. from the photoshop joints (Breez in the casket was ruthless lol) the characters (No Good Thief etc.), chicks getting exposed, cats meeting up to fight, debates, and keystyle battles. It'll never be anything like it.

I used to :troll: that place like a mug. Made characters like A.C. Slater, nikka With Prison Muscles, nikka With Hips Like a Woman, Claudette Ortiz, Tupac's Ghost On CNN, ...Fake news and stories, fake tracklists and diss song lyrics...It was a simpler era in internet timeline, before media sites, social network boom, and easily accessible streams and news updates, plus many people were ignorant to the tomfoolery of internet shenanigans and not yet web savy at that point. So you could put up some foolishness and if it was written well enough people would just believe it. I made a Jay-Z alias and there were cats pm'ing me like I was really him

I wonder what happened to my ace Priceli$$, Anti-College, that Ronnie Devoe lookin Breez 50-50, and that rachet Tara bird that would post pics from school bathrooms

lmaooooo... I remember that

*gulp*

I think you're my soul mate

That site was piff breh... The day stillmatic leaked I remember downloading about 3-4 songs (because my internet was :flabbynsick: as shyt) burned them, and brought them to my after school job cause my boss was a Jay-z fan. Those were the leaks with the barking dogs.

My username was "music4dasoul" and I used to stan Talib Kweli and the Rawkus movement heavy :skip:

Used to post on there as well from 04-close, same screename and all. My fondest memories are STU-Top dude creating the Neptunes $2 million dollar beat rumor that STILL persists to this day, STU leaking fake lyrics to the 50 cent diss Bullet X and nikkas calling it the next Ether, and nikkas losing their minds the night Nas and Jay-Z made peace at the I Declare War concert..:myman:

I remember nikkas calling bullet x a classic and saying it's a top 3 diss of all time
:krs:
The jigga warriors on that sight was way more ruthless than on here. Good thing they didn't migrate here:whew: Everyday I got into some type of argument with them.

The Jigga warriors were clowns, they had a post on there talking about BP2>>>>>>>>Illmatic:sitdown:

But yea, STU-Top Dude was a fool. Dude "leaked" fake track listing and Cover art for the Nasdaq Dow Jones album and had sites like sohh and allhiphop reporting it as fact. Dude posted fake beats for a song called "Hallie Salassie" that was supposed to be on it and all of us like:ohhh:

He also started the rumor that Pete Rock slept with Carmen:gladbron:

Too many good times on that site.

I remeber 730stix saying that the Braveheart was a real deep in QB, and that Hot 97/Summer Jam fiasco had Nas and Jungle ready to go to war.
