Their forum was crazy crowded with groupies, the first page would be full of threads that were all created within a 3 minute span. And all of them had screennames along the lines of ~OmAriSBabY86~
Some of them would come to the Nas board with the most innocent of questions or pleading for peace and then get pounced on by wolves
lmao. It was a bunch of kids and young teens on that board, lol.
But speaking of over the top of reactions and manic fans in forums, the prince boards (the dawn, org and another forum that got shut down) back in the days was nuts. The elders used to shyt on any poster for getting something wrong or misspelling a prince track incorrectly. LOL.

Slater, nikka With Prison Muscles, nikka With Hips Like a Woman, Claudette Ortiz, Tupac's Ghost On CNN, ...Fake news and stories, fake tracklists and diss song lyrics...It was a simpler era in internet timeline, before media sites, social network boom, and easily accessible streams and news updates, plus many people were ignorant to the tomfoolery of internet shenanigans and not yet web savy at that point. So you could put up some foolishness and if it was written well enough people would just believe it. I made a Jay-Z alias and there were cats pm'ing me like I was really him. I retired this name around '02
