I really think someone can start a network online with the same feel and be very successful.
a coalition of black investment groups should but they won't

They sold out to some cacs. Was a wrap ever since.

Pretty sad to see. Rap City...gone. Unplugged...gone. 106 & Park....gone. TRL.....gone.It's amazing how these channels are these days. It's Saturday and there isn't one music video show on any of the major channels(MTV, BET, VH1, MTV2 even for fukks sake). A solid 85 percent of their programming is either reality shows, Ridiculousness, or old TV shows. Not everyone has BET Jams and it isn't the same because they just show music videos, I don't even know if they have any VJs anymore.

yeah it's been back for a minuteI woke up at a random time and I saw a TRL episode on one Saturday (recently). I think it's back.
Oh wow, did not know that.I woke up at a random time and I saw a TRL episode on one Saturday (recently). I think it's back.
Props to them trying. Vevo really killed that shyt.I remember when they use to play hbcu football gsmes. Its time for a new black channel. The cacs who run it now are too profit driven to put out good content.

Why bother having a channel dedicated to music videos when you can go to YouTube.
