The label fell apart after that. Dame started backing Cam, Jay started working with the parent company to cut Dame out. YGz, Omilio and all them didn't get off the ground and got dropped, Beanie eventually started wanting to be down with G Unit and Jay wouldn't let it happen and they started beefing. Dips and Jay started beefing. The label as it was constituted before the beef was no more. Cut off the head the rest of the body dies. Nas slayed all them niqqaz taking out Jay and the people remaining who still had a career left got cool with Nas (Jay Z, Kanye).

All of that happened years after the fact. After the battle Freeway went Platinum, YGz had a number 1, Jay had one of the biggest albums of his career with TBA, Beanie dropped his best album with The B Coming, Cam blew up, and Kanye became Kanye.
Nas put a chink in Jay's armour, but no lasting damage was done to his career.
Act like Jay didnt cry on the radio or Bleek didnt say it was a solemn day in the office that day. Them Nikkas was hurt. "Hit 'Em Up" didnt end Biggie either. But we know they was sick behind it... copping pleas and shyt... foh!
