theres so much wrong with this post, but i know that youre bullchittin, so im not even gonna bother.

im just gonna say this.
Ether dropped in 2001.
rocafella's biggest years were 02-04.

ETHER dropped December 2001... So the destruction made its way to 2002..

From there Jay dropped his worst album of his career Blueprint 2
Dropped several trash movies like State Property
Beans got ate by Jadakiss
Dipset was beefin with Jay Z
and they eventually crumbled.

The bomb that set it off was Ether

How Nas destroy Rocafella when State Property 1&2 came out after Ether and Diplomatic Immunity came out and was a movement within Rocafella. we not even going to mention Purple Haze. Has it been mentioned Jay dropped the. Black Album after Ether. Ether was good for the moment and it’s a legendary record but let’s not revise history:whoa:

(you see the Nas lookalike :mjlol:

Ether killer Rocafella?:comeon:

When did Dame try to make Cam a VP at Rocafella and Jay had to veto it?
Their rift caused the demise and it's cause Dame lost faith in Jay and was backing Killah moreso. It took awhile to actually develop but once it did all of them Philly MCs lost their deals, Cam and Jimmy started dissing Jay.
Music might have been good but the relationships and the label were falling apart.

Blueprint 2>>>>>>> Kingdom Come
State Property a hood classic like Shottas but what about the albums State Property drooped? very dope.
I think Jada vs Beans was a dope battle the fans one that battle cause we got some dope music from both artist. Dipset did sign to the Roc with intentions on dissing Jay. They didn’t crumbled Jay wanted to do his on thing. If the Roc would’ve stayed together

True but that don’t have anything to do with Ether that’s just politics in business and life

The politics of Dame hopping on Cam's piece and trying to undermine Jay is because if Ether. Dame lost faith in him.
Na I don’t think that had anything to do with it, I think Dame made Cam a VP without Jay knowing because that was his boy and he been in the industry for a minute plus Dipset was hot at the time. Jay saw that move and said I’m the star I’m out. I think Dame making that move without Jay was very stupid but in Dames defense they was on top for a minute he probably didn’t see Jay leaving. None of that had to do with Ether.

Ether dropped in 2001.
rocafella's biggest years were 02-04.
after ether, jay went on the first vacation of his life to Italy
nikka just wanted to get the fukk outta America, couldn't even walk down the streets without randoms screaming "fukk jayz':russ:

nikka was depressed ( irv gotti confirmed this) and his heart wasn't really in it anymore.

when jay was on vacation, dame made cam president and that was the beginning of the downfall of the roc

shyt was perfectly fine at the label until ether dropped

blueprint 2 was considered trash, jay pulled the " u don't like me anymore so im retiring" thing during one of nas's hiatuses (nas didnt drop a album in 2003) to regain back some love.

It was the beginning of the end.
  • Freeway came out went platinum, then what happened? He had to go indie. That's weird having to take an indie deal after going platinum.
  • YGz had a couple of good singles. Did their album even come out? Even if it did it was to little to no fanfare
LOL

i stopped reading right there.

i was about to ask if you were incarrcerrated during this time period, but i remember you from SOHH.

you mustve been living under a rock.

i dont agree with most of this, but even if i did, what does this have to do with rocafella?? i dont care about jay-z. i was talking about the whole "nas killed the roc" BS.

btw
even when nas dropped Ether, he was still more popular than nas, and blueprint was more popular than stillmatic.
i also dont recall god's son being any more popular than BP2. in fact, nas was busy aligning himself with murder inc.:mjlol:
jay & dame had their own issues, and jay was already plotting on his next move. nas

You must have stopped reading because you didn't like what happened. :francis:
Please tell me about Freeway's follow-up to his debut that was so successful and that the YGz did crazy numbers with their debut. :jbhmm:

i stopped reading because i dont have time to read delusional rants. Nas was nowhere near the factor that yall pretend he was. he couldnt even damage jay's career. how is he gonna damage the career's of other artists who werent even involved??

why are you asking about freeway's 2nd album?? he didnt even drop his first album yet when Ether was out. if Ether was so damaging to the label, then freeway wouldve never blew up in the first place. LOL. youre moving goal-posts out of desperation.
and for the record, jay-z killed freeway's career. everybody that stayed under jay's new rocadfella without dame & biggs, ended up committing career suicide, minus kanye who had the def jam/LA Reid machine behind him.

young gunz first album was bigger than the album nas dropped that year.
why are you asking about young gunz numbers anyway?? didnt you say numbers dont matter a couple pages ago??

here come the revised history book king

always with the version nobody remembers

i dont revise chit.

the disconnect is, youre just a f*ckin nerd, learning hip-hop thru rap forums.

stop following me around this board because i hurt your feelings in some thread that i dont even remember.
