Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
my point is, neither are great defender but Julius gets the edge due to ability to switch PNR effectively and Julius forces more turnover

you cant really ask better of your PF. he's had 3 clutch blocks like these this season

You can't ask better of your PF, yet you're saying he's a better defender than Jabari even though his rim protection is worse and the guy he's guarding shoots a better percentage against him than they do Jabari? The math ain't adding up, especially since Jabari is on a better defensive team.

im saying as an individual defender, Randle is better...defensive stats are deceitful cause defense is heavily influence by team effort. Ive seen Randle switch out to guys like Harden and Westbrook and do a relatively good job. that will be a huge asset going forward, moreso than anything Jabari offers imo

:dead:

Please explain how, nothing you're saying is matching trackable stats, Jabari is better at contesting shots at the rim and on the perimeter, and obviously his defense on PnR is sound since he's on the 10th best defensive team in the league while playing next to a center who is no better than Mozgov. I don't care what you've seen, you said he was a better defender, where the proof :mjgrin:

Jabari is the 5th option on defense, it's the only reason his numbers look good. :mjgrin:

@Malta

Ingram will be, in the future, better than Giannis. You wanted me to bring it up, there ya go. :mjgrin:

You'll notice your general @CantStop doesn't talk to me about Russell or Ingram because I like both of them.

Currently, Giannis is doing 21ppg, 8rpg, 5apg, 2bpg, 2spg at 21......those are pretty lofty goals for Ingram.

I didn't think this is how the response was going to be in all honesty. :hubie:

well for one, tracking stats dont tell the full story. team defensive effort influences this alot, epsecially when you consider Jabari is playing with a good perimeter defender in Giannis. But whatever, lets assume tracking stats DID tell the full story. Literally 1-2% points separate Julius and Jabari. Thats is negligible difference to the extent I would say Julius ability to force turnovers more consistently and switch in PNR outweight that minuscule difference. I'll take that over a 1-2% difference in defensive FG%, and I think alot of people will

So, teammates only matter on defense, they don't matter on offense, since Randle plays with better shooters than Parker does that doesn't seem to factor into your equation but when we talk defense you quick to bring up teammates? These percentages weren't negligible when you were using them to paint Randle as the better defender, they weren't negligible when you tried to use them to make your point.

Thank you for falling into the logic trap and showing your hypocritical arguments, your arms too short to type with me:mjgrin:

Whatchu think his ceiling is? :jbhmm:

He's a franchise talent, not sure what his ceiling is beyond that, it depends on how hard he works. I said it when I watched his games at Duke, he was a much better passer than Coach K let him be, I thought he was a perfect fit for what the Sixers already had, and while I think Simmons will be good I like Ingram better since he can shoot.

I thought this year would be mostly about development & getting his body ready while @Dwight Howard said he'd average some shyt like 15/6/5 :dead:
