the thing is for the past decade we know that republicans are racists and bigots always ready to back up the big corporations, a lot of people didn’t know how dysfunctional the Democratic Party really is , they finally have the upper hand and can’t get together to work on anything .

giving it to people in a lower bracket also makes sense budget wise

then they extended unemployment 11 weeks
on top of giving that extra budget money toward unemployment till September which is 2 seasons away

I dont see how that's an L compared to what's happened the past year... that alone is way better than what happened before
they've already given out more stimulus than all of last year ... and extended unemployment, which they got up to 600$ at the start of the pandemic....not republicans

so as much as people want to complain about them having power to do whatever
this is still within budget without tipping the boat over, if need be they can do more later on. Nobody is going to guarantee bullshyt for 365 days when you're winding down out of shyt

I agree. I have zero idea what the disagreement is about. $600 in early January after months of bullshyt doesn't mean shyt in the middle of March. Nobody was waiting to combine that $600 from January with $1400 in March. That shyt is not logical in this country. $2000 is $2000. $2000 isn't $600 here and $1400 hear after talking about $2000 checks.

Let’s go home for the holidays!” Then trump says “$2000 stimulus checks!” Then they say “it was our idea first! The republicans wouldn’t let us!” Now they have control of all levels of the process and its “it’s joe manchins fault!” if you said $2000 checks 4 months ago but people already had the $600, then you just should give out the $2000 to account for the 4 months people had to wait for the bullshyt $1400

You’re waisting your time. I said it before, these democratic voters criticize the trump voters for being crazy but they have the same mindset ie voting out of emotion. There’s no logic involved. Joe Biden’s team insinuated during election time that they would forgive 50k in student loans, then they backtracked to 10k, now it’s nothing. They said 2k checks, backtracked to $1400 now it’s nothing. Yet they’re still defending the Democrats the same way republicans voters defend trump. They are the same people and don’t even know it.

When the dems agreed to give people a funky $600 check just so they could go home for vacation, the same people defended that decision as “wait until they win the 2 seats in georgia” they won the two seats in Georgia now it’s more splaining. This is the same reason Obama had control of the house and senate and lost it. The same thing will happen with Biden and it’ll be back to the republican blaming like clockwork

I don’t think it’s about the $1400. People are generally upset that when republicans have power they get their agenda done and could care less about a Democrat. The Democrats get control of the house and senate and now you have a divide between moderate dems and liberal dems. All last year it was all about the republicans holding up the stimulus and joe Biden said out of his whole mouth if the 2 Georgia seats are flipped it’s guaranteed $2k checks. The first thing they do is a bullshyt impeachment trial that they know isn’t going to pass in the senate.

Biden always said 10k, so that's cap. $1400+600 is $2,000. Brah you're a republican, so stop capping. Which is fine, but don't come off like you some both sides critic. It took me 1 minute of your post history to see that.

When Democrats signed that same $600 bill that Republicans did just so they could all head home for Christmas with peace of mind. And the only reason the $2,000 came back into the discussion was because Trump wanted to give a last fukk you to Mitch and Republicans.

If he never said a word, then the Democrats weren’t going to have the $2,000 ploy to take control of the Senate. People seem to forget that before Trump pulled his little stunt, that the Democrats took a walking L during the election system and only got saved because of the $2,000.
