For some reason people seem to be hesitant to throw Pelosi to the fire for her actions.

Don't forget she threw members of her own party under the bus after the November elections to deflect blame for their losses. She had Clyburn doing her bidding and throwing heat at Progressives and "Defund the Police" for their losses when both Nancy and Chuck's face were plastered all over those ads during election season.

That should have gotten her and Chuck thrown to the bushes, but members of their party were too bytchmade to do anything about it. Now you're seeing Manchin could care less about what either one of them have to say lol.

Common sense would tell you that Republicans controlled the senate and the house couldn't do shyt to pass a higher stimulus. When Trump put pressure on the senate, it gave democrats a way to push it and possibly pass it. shyt ain't rocket science.

That's not an open secret though. Everybody knows that Republicans wanted no part of another stimulus bill. That's how the Democrats were able to use it as leverage to take back Control of the Senate.

If Republicans wanted another stimulus bill, then they would have voted yes on the $2,000 to help win one or both of those Senate seats.

I said this was going to happen. Trump isn’t in office yet you somehow managed to deflect blame on him. The people did everything joe Biden told them to do. They got rid of trump and got him 2 senate seats and yet there’s still no accountability. Trump is the reason we’re even talking about a 2k stimulus. The dems agreed to $600. Trump used it to his advantage and that’s how we got here. They should have stuck to their commitment of $2k. At the end of the day it’s the same amount anyway. They should really be pushing 2k checks like he said he would do.

My point is people want to immediately point at some sort of failure of Biden's leadership when really this falls on the Senate leadership. (Chuck).

There's a fundamental misunderstanding of how anything in politics works to the average American...and you'd think that after the last 4 years we'd have gotten better at it as a populous.

Joe Biden specifically said if he got the 2 senate seats the 2k checks would be at people’s door, not chuck shumer. He made the commitment and people are holding him accountable.

The average voter isn't nuanced in their thinking enough to see this. And that's why Dems fumbling on this is so dangerous. American voters (esp. Democratic leaning voters) are fickle as hell and need to be inspired to get off their ass and vote. Besides voting out Trump, 2k checks and the $15 minimum wage increase was a major inspiration for many people to come out and vote. I honestly don't see how this wont translate into Democrats getting completely destroyed in 2022.
