Better short term question: what are black voters going to be voting for in 2022, or even 2024? Your voting rights are getting decimated on the state level regardless of who is president. Sure a democrat DOJ is way better than a republican DOJ but given that much of this isn't illegal, it's not being stopped.
Besides judges the only difference right now is you get your welfare with democrats. Don't have to worry about it being shut off or dangled like a negotiating chip. But what if you aren't on welfare, what then.
I'm not telling people not to vote. I'm voting. I'm just pointing out the simple reality: these clowns promised the moon, knowing they couldn't deliver, and will be back in 2022 and 2024 to dance and sing and visit black churches and say "ain't" and all that other shyt. Expecting your vote, because the other guy/party is worse. Yet whether the other guy or your guy gets in what do YOU get? We can even move this beyond race specific things, and include things like...hey, free community college sure would help black people right? More affordable healthcare sure would help black people right? Some type of federal help with rent sure would help black people right? Well you aren't getting any of that either.

TBH, she was not taken seriously by the rising Black political establishment who attended that gathering, nor did the Black establishment ever take reparations advocacy seriously, even when Congressmen Conyers proposed legislation.
