Bynum literally had NO IMPACT on the titles. Pau had a huge impact on the titles and so did lamar and trevor/mwp, but that team wouldn't even make the playoffs without Kobe. Lamar and Trever/MWP scored IN SPURTS. they would have a good scoring game some times but most of the time they just produced under 11ppg. They were perfect at ball handling in the triangle, playing brilliant defense and hitting 3s. Pau was playing at a great level but don't delude yourself. Pau even in 08 09 10 is not better than Chris Bosh in 08 09 10 or ever. And all the lakers role players don't add up to Wade

We 15-17 right now? I say, we'd be about 25-7 right now, because LeBron is the better TEAM/SYSTEM player.

LeBron is a passer first, scores so efficiently (54.5% from the field) , and is a better rebounder/man to man defender than Kobe is as well

Offensively....Nash and Meeks may shoot close to 50% from the 3pt line on nothing but open looks, Dwight would be HELL in the PnR with LeBron, Pau would get his touches where he wants em, and LeBron cant be guarded. Perfect player for MDAs offense.

First of all kobe's style of play is not hurting the lakers. He is having a career high in all around efficiency so I'm not exactly sure what correlation you are trying to say that kobe's style of play is hurting the team. It's the rest of the team that is hurting the team. As I said before pau has multiple injuries, is not aggressive in the post and when he is he can't finish at all at the rim. MWP is not a defensive juggernaught and he is offensively inconsistent at best. Nash will give you assists but he will let the man he is guarding light your team up. And although dwight's numbers are similar to last year anyone watching can see that he is hardly the dominant force he used to be.

Lebron due to being in his prime alone would add a few wins but saying the lakers would be MUCH better than their current record is bull shyt.

Basically. He was the best wing defender in the NBA for years and could play at that high level for 48 minutes if need be. That goes a long way. He was a 1 man fast break much like how Lebron is now and probably the greatest scoring machine ever. He could give you 17 in the 3rd quarter and sit the fourth. That type of high level play on both ends of the floor would make this an easy three peat. He almost three peated with a far inferior roster from 08-11

but the chemistry could be because of off the court. Lets face it, Kobe is an a$$hole and his greatness is why a lot of people put up with him. If you take a look at the other thread where Dwight is essentially sayign the team has 0 chemistry off the court, speaks volumes. When we used to play with that star nikka who would not pass the ball and thought the team was all about him, guess what, everybody on the team stopped playing as hard and no fukks were given. The same can be said about the Lakers, like "why even bother"
