@Eye Cue 182 for all the times he wrong, he's right here.
Cardale forced Urban to add more passing into his play calling. JT has been so successful this season running the ball they didnt need to call many passing plays.
When Cardale was in, the only person running the ball was Elliot. Its how he racks up these 150 yd + games. The threat of Cardale throwing every other play for 30 yards gave Elliot that advantage.
MSU secondary could have been taking a nap this entire game with how the OSU offense is designed with JT. JT is a gifted runner, but OSU play calling gets sucked into his success against D-Lines with no NFL prospects to continue that read option bull shyt against D-Lines with actual size and talent. JT is a gifted thrower too but he never gets a chance to get in a rhythm because recently his running game has been doing so much damage against other teams.
Cardale plays this game they win, because more than 5 passing plays are called on the offensive side of the ball and the opposition cant load the LOS w/o getting burned by him in the secondary.
The worst part is, MSU's secondary has been terrible this season, and the game plan from the start should have been to throw the ball. Even with JT.
