Definitely has Gilbert by the short hairs. The franchise went up like 400 million in value this year because of Lebron coming home. He makes the decisions there, there is nothing else to say. He is not going anywhere, but Gilbert knows that he cant force his hand at this point too.
I thought so too but Gilbert can play hard ball with him. It's a risky bet but would Lebron be willing to damage his brand a second time? This would actually be even worse because he already has two rings and to leave again there would be more than just burning jerseys and racial slurs coming from the "fans".

Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
I dont relate to the rose-colored glasses on everything Cleveland sports like yall do. I speak without bias towards em:yeshrug:

The same amount of nikkas I know that was still repping the Cavs hard when LeBron left...0:sas2:

You try and walk a fine line between clowning and repping your hometown thinking that it separates yourself from it.

While at the same time people are still laughing at you because you're from Cleveland.

You don't seem to get that.

What's your reasoning for thinking that tho?

It's just my opinion.

I dont believe LeBron will play out his career here. Just how he's forcing the Cavs to try and win a ring ASAP, basically forcing them to overpay Tristan Thmpson:scusthov:, trading away a #1 pick with franchise potential to acquire a player who's already maxed out (as far as peak)...he's trying to win a ring quick as hell and not build at all. Why? I believe because he's gonna eventually leave when he wins.

:yeshrug:

I'll admit when Im wrong down the line...but we have to wait and see. If LeBron brings a Championship to Cleveland, he's gone imo.

When have I ever clowned my hometown....receipts please:ufdup:

Difference between you and I, I am STILL here. Im breathing Cleveland air. Im walking on Cleveland streets. I will be going to the In/Out car wash on 131st (between Kinsman and Miles) tomorrow to get my car detailed....Im here. Im not speaking from a "I used to live in Cleveland a while ago" perspective. I AM here.

People relate me to Cleveland, because since 2001 online I've been repping my CITY....not the teams. Never denied my city, never hid it either.

Most nikkas that were Cavs fans in 2010, followed LeBron to Miami or started stanning Kevin Durant and Derrick Rose. True facts. When LeBron came back, so did they.

You ask me about burning jerseys, Im gonna give you the truth. No nikkas burned his jersey..but no nikkas was still repping the Cavs hard like they were in 2010 either.

KLove peaked at 26 years old :ohhh:

you can have your opinions but your reasoning behind them is flawed. this team is build to last for the rest of LBJ's career. the players we are signing to multi year contracts are players that proved they can perform in the playoffs and are still young as fukk

Im in Cleveland right now. :checkuout:

And I've had this same retarded argument with you before.

You know you know nikkas that still followed the team. You know that because you know me.

:kang:

And like you said you don't know anyone that actually burned anything so I don't get why you would even apply that to this conversation. Other than to throw shots at Cleveland.

I know the people I fukk with still followed the squad. :yeshrug:

He's 30 in the prime of his career regarded as one of the best players in the league...with 2 other all stars in their mid 20s locked up for another 5 years....a 29 year center who has proven to be a great fit for them...they were just 2 games away from title......while not being 100% healthy...
What more is there to build???? besides what they are doing which is filling in the pieces around those 3.....

You think Kevin Love is gonna get any better than he is now?:ohhh:

I dont. I think he's at his best now.:manny:

I can only go by his history breh.

He left Cleveland and bounced to Miami before the Cavs could get any young pieces behind them or any salary cap space freed up...but they were good enough to make the NBA Finals in the East in 2007, 2009, and 2010 imo.

He left Miami coming off of 4 straight NBA Finals and 2 rings....with a GM and team built around him. Didnt matter to him.

I believe if he wins in Cleveland, he will leave breh. It's just my opinion based on his moves and tendencies. We'll see later down the line:manny:

But not like they did when LeBron was here. Stop acting like nikkas was still rocking with the Cavs around town and anticpating watching the Cavs games breh:heh:

BW-3's, Harpo's (:rip:), Champs, AND Mr. Gee's used to be dead on nights the Cavs played back then.

Where you at in Cleveland though breh? I thought you was still OT?:dwillhuh:

Maybe it's because the people I actually know are basketball fans first. Played the game and/or are basketball heads.

I've never wavered from it..nor the folks that I deal with. We're not causal regular sports fans.

I wouldn't expect B Dubs to be packed to watch Samardo Samuels and Alonzo Gee.

:heh:

The city got behind Kyrie tho.....

My folks is still in Cleveland. I come thru when I get some down time.

I have a gut feeling that Lebron will retire early but I don't think he will leave Cleveland to play for another team.

book marked so when the inevitable happens.............again:sas1:

Watching yall burn LeBron's jersey a 2nd time:mjlol:

:sas2:

Funny you used those smilies. It was actually SAS who said on First Take that Cavs fans better hope LeBron doesnt win you one and then go to the Knicks (said it during the finals) :patrice:

I dont see him ever leaving the Cavs. If LeBron had 4 or 5 rings already (crazy cause him/Spo cost them the title vs. the Mavs and injuries cost him vs the Warriors) i think he would consider the Knicks. Dude clearly thinks about his legacy. :yeshrug:

But he's finishing up the rest of his career as a Cav though :ehh:
