Lol what?? I remember that. She specifically endorsed the vaccine because it was made under the proper guidlines and practices.

She said if it was something exclusively nade under trump and only reccomended by Trump alone. She wouldnt take it.

Just because Trump at one point took credit for the vaccine doesnt mean it wasn't an effort with bipartisan parties involved.

What a weird way to take that quote. This is why you guys are republican. You dont know how to read people. Jesus.

you guys are too much lol

Jesus Christ.
You're one of those people.
I choose not to live in a willfully ignorant world and the truth that’s in front of me. If you choose to do so, then that’s on you.

The truth is in front of you and you see it on a daily basis. It’s up to you whether you believe it or not.

Your comment and mindset is exactly what they want you to do.

That isn't accurate. Do you really want to have to go into debate as to why that isn't accurate? Do you really think that there isn't receipts that refute this claim out there on the internet? Think carefully now

This is misleading.

I will help you guys out. She said if Trump says take it she won't and Biden is acting like Trump is single handedly giving out vaccines to people instead of healthcare professionals. They were undermining the vaccine and roll out before it actually happened for bipartisan reasons. That's just facts.

I will help you guys out. She said if Trump says take it she won't. Nothing about 'rollout' like your link claims.

The video Scalise is showing still removes the context of their opposition, which was over Trump wanting to rush something out *before* the election. It also erases where they say they would trust the scientists over Trump. I understand your grievances with Democrats. Hell, we share a lot of 'em. However, I don't understand why you let that turn you into enough of an unreasonable person that you would run interference for someone like Trump.

Trump was publicly touting the promise of a rapidly developed COVID-19 vaccine as early as March 2020, when fears of a global pandemic were just beginning to flare, and said he was urging researchers working on the vaccine to "speed it up." Scientists and drug makers, meanwhile, were urging more caution on the timeline and said they were emphasizing safety and effectiveness over speed.

You are ignoring the "Why?" The doubt expressed is to simply undermine the president for bipartisan reasons not the goodness of their heart and real concern. Similar to what the Rs are doing in the OP. How can you call out and criticize a roll out that hadn't happened yet?

The blurb you posted says Trump was urging researchers to speed up. Isn't that evidence he would not launch it without their approval?

Your entire argument only makes sense if you stop reading or listening mid-sentence. Or how Trump's political interference undermined scientists and researchers at every step.

No. We've seen how Trump tries to exert pressure with how he treated Dr. Redfield and Fauci during that time period.

So you think they were genuinely concerned about a roll out that never actually happened under Trump and they were not playing politics?

This really shouldn’t be surprising in the slightest nor a gotcha moment. Why would you want to help out your future opponent and that’s not just in the political world. This happens all the time around elections.

The unfortunate part about it is that American citizens are caught in the middle of it and will suffer from it.
This is "normal" but not healthy. Democratic republics work on compromise and coming to an agreement through discussion. These games are killing the system.

Combine this with most Americans now having no idea what the rules are and how their own government works, it's no wonder politicians constantly play political games because they know the population is dumb enough to not know how to question it en masse because they don't even have a background understanding of the system to question them from. It seems to be a constant battle to remind people that the president isn't king for example.

Civics education need to be brought back.

Of course it’s not healthy, but you can blame the two party system for that.
