Revis & Sherman got beef over best CB in league

I have no negative things to say about Sherm, but there's no other CB I'd rather have in this league than Darrelle Revis.


Every player on the field has bad plays from time to time throughout a game. CB is such a thankless position cuz the only times we see them mess up its usually for a big play. With QBs, we see them make mistakes ranging from missing reads, inaccurate passes, walking into sacks, all the way up to throwing bad picks. With CBs, outside of watching All-22 later, we only see them mess up when they give up a big play.

So, you can post some of the few big plays he's given up, but I know great corner play when I see it, and Revis is out there BALLING.

Revis is still that dude. Sherman and Revis are 1 and 2. Peterson really should't be mentioned, dude doesn't have it like them.

Compared to 48.6 throwing against Richard Sherman


PP's also given up 8 TD's so far this season, Sherman on the other hand, only 1.

I totally agree with him.I wouldn't even put PP on the 2nd tier....high 3rd maybe.

Cardinals were dumb as fukk to pay him all that money... dude basically got paid because of those 4 punt returns he had during his rookie year.That's they only thing he's done in this league.Quiet as it's kept, he became a terrible punt returner after that.He would just dog it out there.


I think he's one of those "more concerned with his 'Brand' " type athletes ...he's all smoke & mirrors marketing.A big name, but he doesn't have the game to match.

Overrated as FUKK.....I wish the Cardinals would cut him and use some of that money to extend Larry Fitzgerald a few more years.PP's easily replaceable IMO....Thee highest paid CB of all time, but he's only the 3rd best corner on his OWN TEAM.Jerraud Powers has made more plays than him.

I think nikkaz throw him out there because his name has a nice ring to it..."Patrick Peterson" has a lil charisma....sounds like that would be the name of a dope athlete/football player.....NAH

You gotta look at the defenses they're playing though.

Sherm can play tight because there's always a safety on top of him.

Revis on the other hand, rarely gets Safety help since McCourty is always shading towards the opposite side.

Not saying Sherm isn't elite, but he gets more help than Revis. That Jordy catch would not have been a TD if Revis had a safety shading him.

Yep...they pick on him every game.I can't think of one thing he's good at when it comes to pass coverage.

I'm a Cardinals fan, so I've watched damn near every game of his professional career.Can't remember the last time I saw him get a INT because of tight coverage.....all his INTs come off of passes tipped by D linemen at the line of scrimmage.

They should try to throw him at Safety.


Dumb fukking Cardinals, man......Dump Antrelle Rolle and then draft him all over again.Rolle was the same way, but he salvaged his career by moving over to safety.

His tackling is inconsistent, but he's pretty good at ballhawking....like I said, he has a nose for the ball when the play is right in front of him, he's just not fluid enough to handle NFL wideouts as a CB in this league

Cromartie is actually good tho. He has bad technique and takes too many chances, but he is a good CB.

They're very similar, but I'd still take Cromartie over Peterson.

Cromartie got his shyt blasted against Demaryius Thomas, but other than that, he's been pretty solid this year.

He actually plays tight coverage from time to time.....can't say the same for Pat
