other than saying he is burning the jersey he is actually kinda restrained, I'm disappointed, I was expecting him to let his feeelings flow

It's really not a big deal for most Jets fans....a corner playing for the Pats on a one year deal. :manny:

Ok let's be honest, Gronkowski is an injury machine, and I don't think he is better then Jimmy Graham, Vernon Davis, or Jason Witten.

Even if this were true, which it's not (to the point where Davis and Witten don't even have an argument), :umad:

As amazing as Revis is, it doesn't solve the Patriots biggest issue which is a rather anemic pass rush. The gap between Revis and Talib is not as wide as people are making it. Revis is nearing the end of his prime.

Talib and Revis are the same age and one is the best cornerback of his generation and doesn't get hurt every 5 games.

Tom Brady has maybe a good year or two left, his window is closing.

This is just random conjecture. Tom Brady had arguably the best season of his career last year given the weapons around him.

They will likely lose Julian Edelman to free agency.

Which will hurt more on kick off returns than at WR. Between Amendola and young Boyce, I'd say we get a full 16 games :russ:.

Teams get injured every day, every team has to contend with injuries, The Broncos played over 1/3 season without guys like Von Miller. No team in the conference championship games had injuries like the Pats. NO ONE. They lost BOTH starting tackles. BOTH tight ends. Dobson with a foot injury. Their best player at every level of defense. It's not comparable. Von Miller wasn't really missed until the SB. They were actually probably better at stopping the run without him.

Yes they are overrated, are they better than the 49ers, Seahawks, Panthers, Packers, in fact forget the NFC, are they better than the Broncos, the Colts, I wouldn't discount the Jets this year so easily, as well. The Patriots will win the division because the AFC is not great aside from the aforementioned teams. I never said they would be trash and it's still early but people also crown them too quickly.
Do you know what the dictionary definition of overrated is........

People are saying the Pats are a contender and a team that has been to the AFC championship game 3 years in a row warrants that. A team that has played the eventually SB winners the past 3 years as tough as anybody. You're talking nonsense. You just said they will win the division because it sucks but then said the Jets are a sleeper (who are in their division)...make up your mind. Why would you name a bunch of NFC teams when the Pats would only have to beat 1 of them to win the SB....

The Patriots still ave holes, certainly more than the Broncos but you're not making all that much sense.

Gronk is much better than Davis/Witten. I give him the edge over Graham too but they are nearly tied for best TE.

Talib is injury prone and gets burnt by past their prime WR's like Mr. Ice Up Son

I agree Brady's window is closing. 2-3 years tops before he hangs it up. I hope he doesn't pull a Favre

Edelman will be a bigger loss than most people expect. Brady needs some comfort with his WR and Amendola is a joke.

Patriots lost more important players than any other team last year and still accomplished a lot. If healthy, we have a better than 50% chance of beating Denver in the AFC title game. (Even if DEN was fully healthy)

The only team thats definitely better than us would be Seattle. 49ers can be beat. Packers/Panthers are overrated and couldn't hang with us. Colts? Really? Jets suck, gtfo.

So is it a foregone conclusion that Edelman is gone? Pats need all the receivers they can get with Gronk's awful luck.

If you think Gronk is better fair enough but Witten avg nearly 1000 yards receiving a season and is a very good blocker, I won't argue too much with Davis because he had a down year last year. The Cowboys could lose Dez Bryant and would it hurt yes, lose Witten and the entire offense falls apart. Dude has been in the league 10 years and has almost 10000 receiving yards.

I'm not trying to say Witten is a scrub. He's top 5 in the last decade in my eyes. He's consistent and is Romo's insurance policy. I just think Gronks size and skills make him far superior to Witten. Gronk and Graham are 1a, 1b right now and its mainly because they are huge athletic beasts and they can be the #1 player on the field at any given time. I don't think the same can be said about Witten.

why is everyone doubting the pats offense? they were the 4th best in the league last year with a bunch of rookies, basically no gronk (best TE in the game, fukk a graham), no backup plan for hernandez, vereen hurt most of the year, ridley riding the bench, amendola without a groin and an off year + injuries to the best o line in the league. if you think they're not going to improve that unit from last year then:ufdup2:

Witten is not as athletic but he he does everything else better, dude is getting older but if we are going prime vs prime, I think Witten was the more rounded player.

Some cornball at work brought up the fact that Revis called Beli a jerk years ago as if I'm supposed to give a fukk :rudy:

But I decided to look for the video...

Gronk's response to Tebow :russ:

:camby:

1,329 yards 18 TDs in a single season. witten never sniffed a year like that. gronk is a tremendous blocker also, hes like having another OL out there. what exactly makes witten better?
