"75% of $800 billion Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) didn't reach workers. "

let it sink in.

It aint sinking in until you can prove these celebrities stole the money. The folks who asked for millions also had the most oversight.

Exactly. Notice how different people act with student loans, but rich people take out "loans" and you got people juelzing for millionaires that didn't need a single dime.
This is not rich people taking loans. This is legit businesses taking loans to pay their workers during COVID. Y’all act like the people themselves pocketed the money. The money went to their employees to cover payroll during lockdowns.

the point is people are cool with RICH people not paying loans, but the same people have this wild anger towards the average person having their little student loans forgiven. And it's not even about the number with student loans, it's straight up anger and pettiness.

keep that same energy for this guy taking YOUR tax dollars:

I don't have a wild anger towards student loan forgiveness. It is fukked up that one of the paths for social mobility involves a lot of debt. It should be free of charge.

That being said, by focusing on student loans, can I take that as you accepting that the the proper use of the loan is not comparable to fraudulent use of the loan?

You don’t know that those companies didn’t pay their workers. If they didn’t, they would have been exposed.

Business owners don’t pay employees or business expenses with their own money. They use business revenue, and loans. When you use your own money, you can go bankrupt. And being worth $100 million doesn’t mean you have $100 dollars in your bank account.

You can really tell who does and doesn’t know about business and finance in this thread.

During a 20-year career in the NFL, Brady has accumulated a net worth of $180million (£134m) while his supermodel wife, Gisele Bundchen, has amassed a staggering $400million fortune (£3oom).
Here are some of the quarterback's most stunning vehicles.

Bugatti Veyron Super Sport

Brady’s cream of the crop is his Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, the most expensive vehicle in his garage, valued of $3million (£2.2m)
The car hits 60mph in just 2.5 seconds and tops out at 268 mph. The power comes from its 8.0-liter W16 engine delivering 1200 horsepower.
Bugatti only produced 450 Veyrons in ten years.
The NFL star is among a select group of celebrity owners, including Tom Cruise, Jay-Z and Simon Cowell.

2015 Rolls Royce Ghost

A millionaire's car collection isn’t complete without a Rolls Royce - and that’s exactly what Brady was spotted driving in 2019 despite having signed a lucrative deal with Aston Martin.
The 2015 Rolls Royce Ghost boasts an impressive 6.6-liter V12 engine, capable of producing 563 horsepower.
The luxury model features aluminum interior accents, aluminium and wood dash trims, 16 speakers and leather seats.

2017 Aston Martin DB11

Brady hasn't paid for all his cars.
After penning a deal with the high-end car manufacturer in 2017, the quarterback was gifted an Aston Martin DB11.
Famed for its association with James Bond, the firm wanted to promote its cars in America by partnering with the biggest NFL player in the world and signed Brady up to a multi-year deal.
The DB11 is powered by a V12 engine and sits behind 600 horsepower.
The car is equipped with a rear-mounted 8-speed automatic transmission manufactured by ZF Friedrichshafen.
The DB11 goes from 0 to 60mph in 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of 200mph.
On top of that his sponsorship with Aston Martin, Brady was able to design a Vanquish S, which the company built as a limited edition model.
There were only 12 made and shipped in 2018 and one of those 12 sits in Brady’s garage.
The 2017 model is worth $211,995 (£157,000)

Named after Brady himself, the 2018 Limited Edition TB12 Aston Martin Vanquish S Volante was designed by the NFL superstar.
Only 12 of these cars were ever produced, making them extremely rare.
The Vanquish-S comes with a 5.9-liter V12 engine and produces 595 horsepower while featuring a top speed of 201mph.
The supercar goes from 0 to 60mph in 3.5 seconds and is valued at $359,950 (£268,000)

2015 Ferrari M458-T

Here come the horses.
The three-time NFL MVP’s car collection boasts a Ferrari M458-T, one of the more expensive cars available in American showrooms.
The M459-T comes with a 4.5-liter F136 F V8 engine, capable of producing 562 horsepower.
The car reaches a top speed of 210mph and can hit 60mph in less than three seconds.
The car’s price in 2015 was $240,000 for the standard two-door coupe and almost $300,000 for the Coupe Speciale.
Brady's M458-T model is valued at a whopping $230,000 (£171,000)

2009 Audi R8

In case Brady isn't satisfied with his red Ferrari, he can always switch over to his red Audi R8, equipped with black interior.
The R8 goes from 0 to 60mph in just three seconds. The all-wheel-drive vehicle has been around since 2006 and was actually the first production car that featured full-LED headlamps.
Brady paid $165,000 (£123,000) for the 2009 model, which boasts a 5.2-liter V10 engine and produces 428 horsepower.
Audi produced the car with carbon composite and aluminium space frame.

2011 Land Rover Range Rover

The six-time Super Bowl Champion’s collection also includes a 2011 Range Rover.
The luxury mid-sized SUV features a supercharged V8 engine.
Brady keeps the SUV as a family car, using it to run his three kids around.
With 28 mpg, this is one of the most fuel-efficient vehicles in the Brady collection.
Brady spent over $100,000 (£74,000)on the Land Rover.

2010 Lexus GS 450H

Brady even has a mid-size hybrid in the form of a Lexus GS.
The Japanese-made car comes with strong performance and an insanely quiet cabin for Brady and company to ride around without being noticed.
The luxury sports sedan offers up the performance of a V8 engine with the fuel economy of a V6.
The car - perhaps the most modest in the collection - is valued at $57,000 (£43,000)
The 2010 Lexus GS 450H is perhaps Brady's most average vehicle he owns, valued at $57,000

"they needed the money for payroll"

For the 3rd time....

How much of the money this man got went to his business?

Name names. Be specific.

Or are you asserting that he bought another car with PPP loan funds or...?

All those people had actual businesses they could use to justify their loans. And they employ actual people and stimulate the economy. I hope people realize the funds were ment for such businesses. They can forgive them because they will earn tax revenue from them and their still afloat businesses.
That's the actual point.
Foh bootlicker. The point was not to just give every person that owns a business a handout. It was to help struggling businesses pay employees who had a risk of not being able to operate. A good percentage of these loans did no such thing.

Tom Brady will make $15 million dollars this year. The NFL did not stop for covid, he had the liquid assets via game checks to pay his debts. Explain to me why this man needed his loans forgiven? he was struggling?

He can’t grasp the concept that business owners don’t pay employees, rent, utilities, supplies out of their own bank accounts. They use the company money, and loans.

He also doesn’t get that these people aren’t going to work in offices or factories everyday. They have people running their businesses.

The Coli is full of blue collar workers.
