lol thecoli can't make up yall mind in here. dudes confused af.

"trades without lebron knowing means we can't shyt on bron for the trade"

:lupe:

"trades with lebron knowing, and did it anyway means lakeshow said fukkit taking back control of the team"
:jbhmm:

either way lakers have to support luka. he's young and will be the face of the team. i agree with that approach. when their past stars were aging out, people criticized the lakers for paying them to keep butts in seats while they became a lottery team. some nba stars look back on that today and say they don't want to go out like that or leave their team like that. perhaps lakers are taking heed and planning for the future.

How many big men, who’ve had extensive injury history, play until they’re 37?
name a white cat that was elite 12 plus years in their career the last 40 years
If you know your history, there’s been a few.

Regardless of that.

Difference is, Luka will still likely be playing at a relatively high level, whereas AD will not be. How could you possibly use this as an argument for the trade being even, when one player will still be playing and the other most probably won’t be?

One guy is out for another month and you’re talking this nonsense.

It’s the most lopsided trade in modern NBA history. And not just from an actual basketball perspective, but from a goodwill, projection, monetary and branding standpoint, that has essentially killed one franchise and brought back to life another.

We will see

AD skill set is unlike a lot of bigs that’s ever played. Also he never really had a serious injury.
