Him, Eli, Ben, Ryan are clearly not HOFers but they will get in

Big Ben is a lock to get in, and Eli will get in as well off the strength of the two Super Bowl Championships and being in a big market. The two Super Bowl Championships also came against the franchise that dominated for about twenty years.

That ring REALLY changed the way people talk about Stafford. I mean i've been a fan since I was a kid cause him and Calvin were amazing to watch, but folks used to talk about him like he was a poor man's Kirk Cousins :mjlol:

Like, folks used to say "Imagine if Megatron had a elite QB in Detroit" :dead: recency bias a mf

When they did a straw poll last year, HOF voters said Eli ain’t in.

He had megatron who helped him pad his stats.

Hall of very good IMO, but he could change the narrative.
Yeah my biggest issue is how much lower the bar is for QBs than other positions. I understand how important the position is but at other positions you had to be the elite of the elite. With QB you can go your whole career barely cracking being a top 5 QB in a given season but still considered HOF quality for longevity.

ELI AINT NO fukkING HOF.

DEFINITION OF AN AVERAGE QB

He might get inducted for clutch plays in the most important game of the league.

Getting a SB MVP is rare, having multiple is like only Montana, Mahomes, Brady and Eli

NO EXCUSE FOR PLAYING 16 SEASONS
AND ONLY HAVE 2 PRO BOWLS
FOR A "HOF QB"

There really isnt. I can name many QBs with 2 or more Pro Bowls, who arent close to HOF status

Mark Brunell
Matt Hasselbeck
Neil Lomax
Jim Hart
Jeff Garcia
Jim Everett

That is an extreme case but my point remains. Eli and Cam made the pro bowl over Stafford in 2011. Teddy Bridgewater and Jameis Winston in 2015 over Stafford. 2015 especially is ridiculous.

And when you’re going against media narratives, media favorites, and big market players yes Detroit is going to come up on the short end of that most of the time.
