That ring REALLY changed the way people talk about Stafford. I mean i've been a fan since I was a kid cause him and Calvin were amazing to watch, but folks used to talk about him like he was a poor man's Kirk Cousins

I don’t think it’s clear that Eli is a Hall of Famer. Breh caught lightning in a bottle twice in those Super Bowl wins and his career has been overrated ever since

Yeah my biggest issue is how much lower the bar is for QBs than other positions. I understand how important the position is but at other positions you had to be the elite of the elite. With QB you can go your whole career barely cracking being a top 5 QB in a given season but still considered HOF quality for longevity.
Thank god he didn’t win a second superbowl or people would make those wack eli manning arguments

Just because the media did not award you with an MVP, a Pro Bowl, or an All Pro does not mean you didn’t have a season worthy of that recognition

That is an extreme case but my point remains. Eli and Cam made the pro bowl over Stafford in 2011. Teddy Bridgewater and Jameis Winston in 2015 over Stafford. 2015 especially is ridiculous.
