Doesn't matter, you cosign it as a Black man, you are a c00n. Point blank, ****** has never been funny. It's not being sensitive, its being aware of history, maybe people should look back in history and realize the power of being called a ******. Sell outs think its okay, I don't.

Good for you nikka everyones different,i dont let words effect me especially if the context is not derogatory imo

Dog....what separates a football locker room is [Tony]BALLS[/Montana]. Not race. I CANT be that dude that allows a white dude to get away with saying niqqa. But other dudes who are cool with cats they have a kinship with can :scusthov: I just wish they understood how their actions can distract people from what the real issues are when they do appear. In this case....martin was viewed universally as soft, from his head coach on down.
Brother, I am fine with the dolphins considering Martin being soft, but there are tons of names you can call a soft player, ****** isn't one of them.

It's always derogatory, especially from a white person, don't be ignorant, we're not talking about just any kind of words, we're talking about a word that was being used while Blacks were being whipped and hung from trees, beaten with billy clubs and water hoses used against. Houses and churches being bombed. You can be okay with it, but it just shows a lack of pride in who you are if you are a Black man. As well as a lack of knowledge and understanding of what you're family had to go through in the past just so you can smile and grin in the face of a white person calling you a ****** and you thinking its cool. But I'm different I guess.

I'm surprised Martin didn't just come guns blazing and shoot Incognito up given his fragile mental state. :kobeshrug:

And I'm tired of you "bu bu bu but if it was me" dudes in here. Where the fukk would the world be if everyone stood up for themselves? It's possible that Martin could hold his own on an NFL field but not respond well to confrontations outside of it.

lol when did I ever say that? All I said is that how anyone on the outside feels is irrelevant, IMO. If Incognito routinely called Martin "half-n****" and Martin called him redneck in return, and they had a friendship and Martin was cool with it, then who am I or who are you to tell Martin that he NEEDS to be outraged by that? Should he be? I think so, and you think so. But if he's not, then what? The ironic part is that you're doing exactly what you're accusing me of. You're trying to tell Martin how he should feel about a word, that's racist to you and I, being directed towards him. If he feels differently, then so be it.

And I interact with Coli posters outside of the Coli literally every single day, :laff: at me pretending to be black on here for even one second. FOH.
You flippantly and casually dismiss the notion that Incognito is racist, reducing the importance of the occurrence of racial harassment to simply whether or not the perpetuater of it is "racist," a context in which "racist" is nothing more than semantics-based and in essence downplaying the signicance of it. Whether or not the action itself is racist is the important thing here, not if Incognito is racist, whatever the fukk that means. It's not a binary thing.

Then you said he isn't racist because there's no evidence that he thinks black people are inferior. :snoop: I guess you have to believe in 19th century phrenology to be a racist now. Then you said he isn't racist because he has a black friend (Pouncey). :dead:

Then after being asked twice, you finally admit you're not black...and added that you've experienced racism, as if that personal anecdote is relevant.

Man just stop talking.

What I have learned:

Incognito is a douchebag
Martin is soft as baby shyt
Dolphins are a mess from top to bottom
The media is a motherfukker
White folk can use the N-word in a non-derogatory manner :ohhh:
Racial slurs are OK as long as the offender isn't racist.

I think the problem with white folks saying the word, nikka or ******; whatever you want to call it, is that your circle of black friends may allow you to freely say the word but you have to be aware of the consequences if you say it outside the circle. Honestly, the word is becoming a generational issue.

I think the media is sensationalizing this situation now. Now Martin is about to become the spoke person for bullying. What a messed up postion to be in. Now will a team take a chance on Martin because of his mental toughness. His weakness has been exposed now.

Football locker rooms always remind me of the detectives office on The Wire..Or the union hall for some blue collar teamsters job..The type of sh1t that goes down in between racial lines under "brotherhood" is foreign to outsiders...The racism, sexism and homophobia is so blatant its almost like it doesnt exist..

My father n law is a fireman and the same mentality exists.. Outside of work he's the pro black brother that does Kwanza and wont let anybody celebrate Christmas.. But when he's with his peoples from the firehouse they morph into some frathouse sh1t where everything goes and they only thing that matters is seniority...

When you gotta go into a burning building with a redneck whiteboy watching your back, I guess you dont really care if he's "racist"...Because you depend on him for your livelyhood... Football locker rooms seem similar....

You had to be asked twice...and you felt the need to throw in that you've experienced racism...and a few "cacs" for good measure. :dead:

Because I didn't really see the relevance, unless you were somehow trying to disqualify me from having an opinion on the topic. Hence me explaining that racism is not uncharted waters for me.
