You know how mad some of you will be if they actually called palming the ball correct. The brehs you shyt on who have one hand and dribble slow as fukk would be LeBron or Giannis today. Every nba player palms while they dribble.

Ignoring the palming rule changed the wing position, imo.

He is 100% right on screens too.

ITS TO AN EXTREME POINT NOW
WHERE PLAYERS ARE CUFFING
THE BALL AND TRAVELING
ALL THE TIME AS WELL.

IT DOESNT HAVE TO BE ONE
EXTREME OR THE OTHER.

THE 90S-2000S HAD A GREAT
BALANCE OF THE RULE BOOK.

Agree

You mentioned palming/traveling in the recent Pistol Pete thread, and dudes were giggling and smilie-ing as usual instead of trying to hear your point.

Barry is a dikkhead but what he's saying here mirrors what other critics of the modern game have said on this forum for years. The rule book and whistles are slanted to give (perimeter) players on offense a greater advantage.

I don't agree with it, but i think it's basically an open secret that's how the league wants it to be, same way in the NFL's new rules are geared toward the offense, or how MLB literally juiced the balls for more HR's :heh: . But then you see a noticeable decline in quality, NFL dudes just chuck shyt and hope for pass interference; nobody gaf about baseball; and we had damn near half a decade of Harden-ball in the NBA before they even pretended to make a rule about it. Their logic's probably that since it's not-called equally for both sides, it's neutral, but I think they miss the point that the quality of the product is getting diluted because it's on some circus shyt and new players in hs and college are probably going to just get exponentially more ridiculous.

So wack ass NBA fans find it “refreshing” to hear a former player rightfuly blame the refs for how the game is legislated rather than pointing fingers at the players?

Welcome the world of a typical NFL and Major League Baseball pre/post game, brehs.

Circus basketball climate had Team USA struggling to adjust to different officiating in the last Olympics
