You dont know what you're talking about.

Its hilarious how when it comes to cacs yall just assume they worked so hard and established themselves, by themselves without that cosign from the gatekeepers. Yall really need to do a little more research before you just start rambling.

Most black really do believe the reason blacks aren't in positions of power is because they didn't work hard enough and white people picked themselves up by their bootstraps :russ:

:what: what the hell does this post even imply? NO shyt he got a co-sign cause he made cool shyt that very unique and quickly became a favorite of rich celebrities.

The fact you have the audacity to say I don't know what I'm talking about when you just wikipediaed some cac you never heard of until this thread.

NOBODY does anything alone, but here's the thing. Owens' work in the fashion world spoke for itself. Would people have invested in with him without an interesting and unique product that caught the eye of important people? Hell no.

What incredibly unique high fashion styled products has Kanye individually credited that garners the same investment in him as a Rick Owens or anyone else in that world would have received for their work?

Quickly? Another man kept him in business for 7 years. Financing his dreams. Meaning, he wasnt making shyt that was hot. Meaning, he believed in him enough to where he wouldnt let him go back to the Community College he came from and he ultimately got lucky and got a cosign. Meaning he was probably sucking some rich mans dikk, Literally to pay his bills. :russ:

Kanye west in his opening years in fashion had a bigger impact in fashion then Rick Owen in his first 6. The only difference is, Owen isnt a nikka because if he was, he'd be back in the hood right now and no one would waste 7 years of their money keeping him in business. Stop it.

Kanye is giving out a lot of game right now but obviously, nikkas think the industry works like getting good grades in high school.

Reading comprehension is your friend.

Quickly became a favorite of celebrities does not imply he quickly became profitable.

People are copy-cats. If you see a famous person wearing your shyt, people buy it. That's important because it's free marketing and becomes a staple of those people's wardrobe.

I don't think you get how clothing in general works. NOBODY turns a profit immediately. NOBODY. ALL of these designers came from money or they knew somebody with money. It's not a lucrative industry in this respect.

To you maybe Kanye had an impact in "fashion" but in that weirdo, avant-garde insanely overpriced world, comparing Kanye's "impact" to Rick Owens is like comparing a pebble falling in a pond to a meteorite striking the ocean.

Yes, Kanye was very influential on mainstream America, but he didn't do shyt in the world of a Rick Owens. He interned at Fendi for a couple months, made a sneaker with LV, made two sneakers for Nike, and he did a women's shoe collection as well as another collection that a lot of people criticized as uninspired and really nothing special.

Tough shyt dun, Rick Owens has two things going for him: he's a fakkit and he's white, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have very unique products because he has that going for him as well.

If only we could bottle and sell fake outrage like Polo Sport cologne (check please) we'd all be rich forever (pay me).

I wonder if Humpty got a check from Burger King for talking about getting busy in their bathrooms. And if he didn't is he a c00n too? Cuz clearly w/o his name dropping them Burger King would be out of business allowing the local mom and pop burger joint to prosper on some pro Black business shyt.

As far as Kanye, he's talking about being a trendsetter in the fashion world and being anti-establishment.

But he's whole spheal is a little mind boggling.

Seems like if he gets less that what he FEELS he deserves, he feels insulted. He even talked about Marc Jacobs with contempt. :wtf: Megalomaniac.

Only thing he says is stopping from going on his own is manufacturing and material costs.

Only way Kanye makes it in the fashion world if he teams up with someone with some business sense.

I made hits give me label. Everything is flopping from that label.

I made nice shoes, give me an office next to Marc Jacobs. Even Marc "lost his company" Ecko  at him losing 13 million + gave him good advice on breakfast club.

I googled him. He seems pretty good at his craft, but honestly it's hard to appreciate these brands because they only make clothes big enough for skinny euros and coke headed skinny size 0 people. I'm a xxl dude, so I'm yet to be moved by this. Make some xxl shirts and then I'll be all ooh and ahh at this overpriced trash
why doesn't your fat ass just lose weight instead? :what:

you gonna look goofy as hell in plus sized designer gear

Besides why not be healthier?

:snoop: @ lazy entitled muthafukkas, I guess that's the American mentality though right?

And just because I want him to make a xxl you assume I'm a fat lazy oath? I go to the gym. I dropped a few sizes already. So take your self righteous euro skinny ass somewhere and read a book.

I dont know how you guys missed the worst part...

The dude said "I dont even know why they bother buying my clothes"

What the fukk does that mean? Like the clothes aren't made for them or some shyt, like they aren't valid customers? That was the worst part of this whole bullshyt.

From what I understand is that he feels that rapper would go for the more known names like Gucci and Prada and he can't see why they would bother with his unknown label so he thinks
