I didnt like Hood Billionaire or Mastermind, GFID was # 3 but I think Black Market is better.

Trilla Ross was too "raw" and "rough around the edges", he was still finding himself. I think Deeper Than Rap is when he found himself, and Teflon Don he perfected himself, and them Black Market is him finally giving us the lyrical content to match is amazing style.

Ross has the Mechanics and tools to be top 10 DOA when it comes to Rapping the Raps, the issue is he found his style and flow before he found the lyrical content that wa for him.

Ross always rapped about being a boss, but his raps were the typically "I wanna be like the Italians and just trick off on stuff", Ross has finally introduced lyrical content that will take up from top 30 DOA to at least Top 15. I have yet to see someone say Ross can't rap, its always some diss about the CO crap.

Ross has literally rapped with most of the Top 10 DOA and has held his own, while most others would get washed.

Like Ross is the only guy I have seen rap with Jay and Nas and come off has he is at least in their league, and they are rapping together opposed to it being "Hey I got Jay on my song to make it better".

I think when its all said and done haters aside Ross will be one of those Raekwon and Kool G types that people who respect the art form put in their top list, because avg publication talks about crap like album sales, when many of the best rap songs were not on platinum albums.
This is all facts Ross has gotten better with every release he's put out :ohlawd: just sit back and think bout that for a second .....he a student of da game, respects and looks up to Big and Pac being his 1 and 2 favorite of all times, he studied and mastered his craft...from his debut to deeper than rap da improvement was :wow:

he's in my top 10 and im tempted to throw him in my top 5 DOA....

people gone look back on big homie's catalog and realize how much dope music he's gave us consistently....he is a legend and has held his own on tracks with other legends...i've never heard Ross get washed on any track with Nas, Hov, etc....

This album is Rozay's victory lap :blessed:

It puzzles me when I nikkas really try and differentiate between the two

Rich Forever is GFID

GFID was scheduled to drop in the fall of 2011 (he ended up giving it away for free) but due to his unforeseen seizures he packaged the original album as a mixtape

"Rich Forever" was the original "If you're reading this it's too late"...

Rich Forever is an album.

Yup look at EVERY online site literally the only diss people can make about Ross is that he was a CO LITERALLY, and that has nothing to do with Rap, and isn't even something bad, the only knock is Ross initially lied about it when he had no reason to.

For example People hate on Drake, but Drake is a student of music, with the Ghostwriter stuff I would remove him from the MC category and more so now look at him as just an artist, but people like Him and Ross are those who you can tell enjoy music and are students to the craft of creating songs.

Ross has the Flow and the Voice, and he has finally found the Content that ties everything together. The thing that made people GOATs as they were the best at rapping about their content per say, and in doing that your fans can FEEL your music. Prior to this Album, Deeper than Rap and Teflon Don were his only albums that gave me a FEELING, the others were just songs I heard, and after hearing once I didnt really need to hear them again. For example It Was Written by Nas is an album that inflicts some type of emotional feeling, thus connecting with the listener on a level deeper than just hearing a song. I think this is something VERY FEW people know how to do, which is why people like say Jadakiss or Battle Rappers, can rap their behinds off but their songs dont create feelings that can have culture impact. This is why you rarely see Black people who consider Emenim a GOAT outside of honoring his sales dominance, he is a amazingly gifted technical rapper, but his lyrical content is literally empty or at least does not resonate what so every with those of us "of the culture". That has nothing to do about race either, because there are non blacks "of the culture" and they can't relate to idiotic content about Rape, Killing their mothers, etc etc.

yup, the first half is a GREAT album, and then it kind of takes a dip, but Carol City is a good finishing track.

I think a Rozay X Cee Lo EP or short Album would be insane, like on some having a Cultural impact type stuff.

That one mixtape Rick Ross did with Diddy in the late 2000s early 2010s "Rich Forever" was better than most of his albums.
