Dude just had a snobbish attitude for the review, and it looked like he wasn't taking his job as a critic seriously. It's an exception to the rule though, so hopefully this doesn't keep happening

Fantano gives everything a fair listen. I didn't think Mastermind was that bad... I wouldnt listen to it again... but if this is how he feels this is how he feels. His reasons for dumping on Mastermind are more thorough than a lot of people's reasons for fukking with it ("Rick Ross makes music for street nikkas")

Yeah I watched it already. Feefo liked it, Ken and Beezy liked a couple of songs and Myke said he was surprised he didn't hate it but it was tolerable. Their review was far more even that Fantanos
That's what you got from that? It was four opinions, outside if the last hating negro, who even said it was tolerable, the reviews were fair.

and their problems w/ the album were the same everyone else has.
Im not a Ross hater, I like his other albums...but its at the point where his sound is getting old...I know what im getting w/ a new album, and I can listen to his others to get it.

So you're saying if Fantano was an unabashed fan of street music, doing what any other fan would do, with the same goofy demeanor/appearance and suburban (we're all assuming) background - he would be qualified to judge street music? Even though he don't know the first thing about the actual lifestyle? He just knows about the lifestyle of a fan?It's not just about living the life of a drug dealer... It's about living the life of a fan of a particular kind of music and lifestyle..
We see it all the time on these boards.. Dudes that haven't been to a club since the Clinton era will say sh1t like "Migos and Future are trash" and just 'drop the mic'....There is two ways to view that statement...
1-He's right, because he knows hip hop and has crediblity because he's been listening since PE and Slick Rick were poppin...
2-This music isn't for him and he's out of touch with the core audience of who the music is MEANT to connect with...
#2 is the point that most people are making about Fantano...And of course they are doing it with harsh slurs and reckless race based talk becauses its the coli.. But they are 100% right...

I would agree with you on this (although I don't think he needs to live the lifestyle of a fan) but I want to make sure I'm not misunderstanding you.
The second part definitely describes me well - last time I was regularly going out - Bush (W) was president. I don't have a problem with people having fun with Migos in the club. I'm not gonna sit here and act like I went to get a drink everytime they threw a Lil Jon record on (back when he was hot) - but I never confused what was hot in the club with who was really holding the crown on some hip-hop shyt. And for the record - Versace/Hannah Montana was awful. Just fukkign awful.
