I would pick MJ but couldn't fault anyone who took Bron first. And my reason is this. I know this sounds sacreligious but how do we know MJ would be the greatest in this era. Every team has at least one (some more) player with comparable athleticism and size as MJ. I don't think he would be shytting on a prime T-Mac even Vince like he did on Ehlo and whoever else back in the day. Who else at Shooting Guard in the 80's and 90's could honestly compete with MJ other than Clyde the Glide. Joe Dumars was a great player but lets not act like he was anymore than about 6'2 and wouldn't be anymore than a third guard now. Ehlo, who wouldn't even be a sixth man on the worst team today. I mean i know if Bron played in the 80's and 90's we know he would have got knocked on his ass. But he still would be 6'9 270 with the same athleticism. Whose to say after a few years of punking he wouldn't become a stone cold assasin just like Mike.
with all due respect, it's not MJs skills or God given talent, it's his thirst to be the best, his competitive drive and his desire to seak perfection that made him the best baller to ever put on a pair of sneakers
i seriously can't even believe you guys are entertaining this idea, it's totally an insult to MJ, the kobe vs MJ discussions are insults as well, Kobe was great (note i said was), but there is MJ, then everyone else, the 80s/90s had way better bball than today. players today are soft, only a few come to mind that would have been ok in that environment, kobe, KG, etc, but the most of them are soft flopping chumps that couldn't withstand the intensity of the game
