this is the year mike won his first ring right?
in my book if bron wins this hes right there with mj
No, at 27 Jordan got knocked around by the Pistons. They were pretty much in the same boat. They used to say Jordan was someone who couldn't rise to the occasion if you got physical and rattled him. They used to says he is a great player but couldn't win a ring. Circa 1990.
I'm in my late 20s and I don't care what none of these dudes say. Most of us only remember Jordan's comback and 2nd three peat. We thought penny was the best player in the league when he retired the first time, even not considering Hakeem the GAWD center during that period. We were not grown men like Tim Legler with a good understanding of the game during the early part of MJ's career and 1st three peat. We were kids that only cared about dunks.
By the way, the Ultimate Jordan DVD is a must own for all bball heads.
All the criticism and treatment is actually good for Lebron, if he uses it as motivation. Game 4 @ Indiana and Game 6 @ Boston showed dude's resolve is getting stronger. Two games where the world was waiting bury him if they didn't win. He has two historic games. See how it translates if they get to the finals.
That being said, I would take Jordan at 27 because he was cold-blooded and hated to lose. You can trust him at the line too.
