He didn't say what day he went, he's not very good with remembering dates like that. Him and his wife had a hotel booked near the O2 and he said it was a complete waste due to how long they'd stopped to watch the 2nd Prince show. They ended up having to leave the Prince afterparty early (4am ish) so that they could pack their bags and leave the hotel for their early train :dead:

I wish I'd have been in Prince even just a few years ago, that random tour he did his Leeds and I'd have tried my hardest to get a ticket.

He was nuts with the aftershows. The guests were :whoo: from what I remember. Amy Winehouse turned up on the last night to do 'Love Is A Losing Game' - and this was when she was constantly in the tabloids for doing wild shyt.

He played a bunch of shows for 10 quid in London last year. I heard about it out here and had to tell my homeboy about it. He ended up going and met George Clinton just chilling in the crowd..

We used to listen to his tapes on road trips, he's a big part of my childhood (and MJ). I can't imagine how :mindblown: it must be to listen to him for the first time now that he's passed, mainly because of how average he makes musicians today seem. When you go from a dude like this that played so many instruments, composed & wrote his shyt, was an incredible performer and a great singer.....to dudes like Kanye and Drake...it's just :ld: personified.

well if theyre uploading old rare shyt can i at least get a copy or watch him on MTV unplugged?

his music is great but where he shined was his concerts with all the piff he was able to pull off, hed start playing the instrumental to pop life switched it up into raspberry beret and play something off the radio you wouldnt believe

hes also let his band perform several mj tracks, he of course lets his backup singer do all the singing, i have one where he performed "the light" with common, im not sure if its him singing but he does come in at the end to give props to common
