Isnt sound cloud somewhat like YouTube? I mean YouTube is free and all the songs I've found on there are on YouTube so....fukkem
What soundcloud now is conceptually perfect.

A youtube for audio and a social media network for music producers, artists, and fans.

The problem is it wasnt making any money and it was growing to the point that labels want their cut. Everybody wants their cut.

It was and still is brilliant. But like all good things its never meant to last long.

I mean I use the itunes podcast app on my iphone but I'm not sure what platform podcast will use now to get the media to android users

Sounds like the android podcast listeners might be screwed...but wouldn't shock me if Apple eventually charges.

www.FTESWL.com podcast we gon make it we depend on soundcloud for android too :mjcry:

Sony pulled all of its music from the service last year out of frustration from a “lack of monetization options,” according to Billboard. But with a paid subscription service pending, the company likely wants piece of the pie if it proves successful.

:mjlol: wow...they basically got EXTORTED by the major labels....

in laymen's terms NOTHING IS INDEPENDENT ANYMORE :yeshrug:
