John Legend first album is classic. Nothing about that album is safe or for white people. It’s one of the BEST r&b albums ever. From production to lyrics to vocals.
That first album was undeniable :wow:

That's also his only real R&B album IMO. Everything after that past a few songs was "Urban Contemporary" or whatever you wanna call it.

He also seem like a nikka to get startled by something and say "oh my!" and I can't get jiggy with that level of corniness :francis:

He makes safe boring music our elders would like. No fun, no excitement, no nothing:russell:

He has a couple joints. Maxine, Heaven Only Knows, Used to Love You, etc.. I can see why someone wouldn't be into his music tho, bro is kinda bland, lol. Maxine is like the modern day "Girl From Ipanema" to me tho, one of my favorite songs.
