1. Im only halfway through with the album. My work commute is half of what it used to be. I didn't know it was on spotify and spent the morning listening to Willie the Kidd's new album on repeat.

2. I forgot about the track list and legit came in to see who was rapping on track three. It's easy to forget how great Q can be, Bronson killed his feature. I'm happy as shyt (I said it in another thread) that Cooks doesn't sound like Cambatta stylewise anymore. HIGHLY anticipating his next verses/releases. I remember it was only me an prolly @Zero (and somebody else) telling folks how Kool Keith was Marci's biggest influence. and here he is.

for all the talks about the production...I haven't heard anything that was too out of the ordinary except Wicked Days

shyt sounds like Kendrick having 1 of his panic attacks followed by the soundtrack to a B-Horror movie

solid project thru & thru but I feel like recently listening to Marcberg throws this off some for me. On Marcberg, you get a clearer Roc (no sufferin succotash going on there like there's on some tracks here), more traditional beats even tho I don't have a problem with production on Mt. Marci...it's just that like others have said, this is probably something I'll revisit when in the right mood but this does fit perfectly with winter

Roc is still lyrically ahead of most of the field and his humor shines thru here, & the features shined too (shoutout to Keith & Stove God). Overall, I'd give this 3.25/5 mics

This album is f#cking excellent to me. I could see older boom bap heads and newer mainstream rap fans not knowing what to do with this tho. I mean, the samples and what he's doing with them is unorthodox and style is so laid back its easy to miss how clever and humorous he is.
