Nah let me explain.

Yeah, its set up like Fishscale and More Fish, but I believe this nikka is high on some potent drugs like Ghost was on SC now. This is Roc's weirdest release to date and he's becoming more off the wall with the beats and rhymes...but its working out lovely. He's always in his own universe but now we're starting to see the oddball side of it. No way we could've pictured hearing him on beats like Saks Fifth or The Sauce in the Marcberg/Reloaded days, but here we are.

Again, I don't think this is his best album, but it slides in right at number 3 after Marcberg and Reloaded.

Don't get me wrong, i never said this is whack. This album is really dope also and i love the weird shyt from him. Just like we don't hear him anymore like the UN days.

I'm on my third listen and this album is amazing

A few realizations I've come to:

1. I've said this many times before, but it merits repeating here, Roc Marciano is the most important rapper of the 2010s.
2. In terms of discography, Roc Marciano is the best rapper of the 2010s. No one else is even coming close.
3. In terms of rapping/bars, Roc Marciano is the best rapper of the 2010s.

only song on the first RR that gave me the feeling like this was Better Know.

he do seem a lil dusty

one difference i noticed in this RR series is he's saying more words in his bars....in the Marcberg era he kinda simplified the UN flow and would let the beat breathe way more...but now he's flowing all over the track not leaving as many empty spots..and he aint using the old UN flow either...reinvigorating the game

I copped the digital, i don't fukk with physicals anymore but 30$ is pretty steep for digital, especially when his previous album was mixed bad....but when people say they haven't got 30$ until their next pay check because they broke, questions what they doing in life brehs

Exactly, he released Marcberg, Reloaded, RR 1 and 2 in the same decade thats a more impressive body of work than most rappers entire catalogs.
He is top 10 DOA based on talent, skills, consistency. Its a shame he doesnt really get the recognition he deserves.

I dont rate them as highly as the other albums.
Marci Beaucoup is basically a compilation and Pimpire is a mixtape.
But his 4 solo albums are all borderline classics.
