This in in my Top 3 Roc Marc releases, maybe even #2. Reloaded is #1 for me. I also like Pimpire way more than most people do, I think the highs on that album are up there with his best songs ever. This album is Roc's victory lap.

Nah let me explain.

Yeah, its set up like Fishscale and More Fish, but I believe this nikka is high on some potent drugs like Ghost was on SC now. This is Roc's weirdest release to date and he's becoming more off the wall with the beats and rhymes...but its working out lovely. He's always in his own universe but now we're starting to see the oddball side of it. No way we could've pictured hearing him on beats like Saks Fifth or The Sauce in the Marcberg/Reloaded days, but here we are.

Again, I don't think this is his best album, but it slides in right at number 3 after Marcberg and Reloaded.

same way I feel...the sauce is a perfect example of this. His rhyming style and lyrics make the song a classic while the beat is average at best.

Roc has become fully self actualised.

The Sauce is just so outrageous but at this point in Roc’s discog it’s just natural progression. This makes the flute part on Herringbone seem like nothing lmao.

He’s so liberated. He’s not even sprinkling the abstract stuff any more, it’s so seamless. And the singing shyt he’s doing is just too smooth to describe - when I first heard Pray For Me
