I have an incredibly hard time believing rock is not involved with the day to day operations of his own story.

Regarding EC, true…but once there he should’ve stuck with the story for sure. He curates his own character and didnt have to be there regularly…he really should’ve commited to even a few sattelite gigs for storytelling.

I agree with you that The Rock/Gewirtz are going to be in complete control of The Rock as an on-screen character, that's not even a question. I just don't think he's involved in creative at all otherwise and likely doesn't want to be. If him and Gewirtz don't agree with the Triple H/Prichard group, what else can be done other than move on? I really doubt Rock is going to start overruling Hunter just cause he's on the board. My guess and it's just a guess is that the two sides couldn't come to terms and Rock walked.

Was unnecessary

That’s my GOAT but if you wasn’t going to fully commit like last year then you shouldn’t of been on tv period

That’s with everything that happened after WM40 to EC

The Night after WM
Bad Blood
The first Raw on Netflix
Announcing WM in NO
EC

I put as much blame on TKO though because their the ones pushing for moments other than letting tv play out with decent story

Ruining wrestling was a great idea. But you could see in his body language heel isn't what he really wanted to do

Them promos came off forced to me

The heel turn WAS HOT.

It is unarguable. We were interested. It was well executed.

But he turned heel TO SURRENDER TO THE FINAL BOSS.

The goal was to ruin wrestling...because the final boss said so.

That shyt just had no story afterwards. I loved heel Cena, the wearing the belt correctly. The JOHN CENA entrance...big fan. He actually cut good promos. But without the final boss it was kind of feckless.

He still is part of the company. He has no excuse as to why he just abandoned the shyt.

When final boss rock was peak going into last mania...I legit put him ABOVE AUSTIN as goat.

I can't no more

That shyt is an all time fukk up and really some selfish shyt

I think I made a thread about this a few months ago and everyone came in here nut-hugging the Rock. Saying he never actually was going to be involved beyond that point, he did nothing wrong, it's not his fault, it's all HHH, blah blah blah.

nikka could have been involved via satellite every week but he couldn't even be bothered to do that.

He literally ruined the whole year from WM to Cenas stupid heel turn etc

Its clear to me that he is sabotaging HHH's influence and TKO's faith in him. Their little pissing contest is clearly making a bad situation worse.

I didn’t think about it like this.
Good point.
Running wrestling companies is in the Rock’s blood and would be a great transition outta Hollywood, once that well starts to dry.

People don’t want to admit that everything that Rock’s been involved with after WM40 has lead to nowhere

Just riddles assumptions & fantasy booking

That’s my favorite Wrestler but everything lately has just been a big nothing burger :francis:

Anything to avoid blaming your white savior Triple Zaddy who was actually in charge of the booking. :scust:

Well that’s his dumbass fault for trying to involve the Rock to begin with.
He know that man don’t fukk with him but he needed hype.
If he wanted the Rock then he should’ve known to take a backseat and let the Rock cook.

The Rock could’ve did it for the fans though.
We don’t care about that BTS shyt.
Just give us a good show.

Rock is HHH's boss. How are y'all forgetting that for some reason now?

Yeah but he’s not the boss of TKO.
He can’t just fire Triple H or he probably would’ve by now.
So it makes sense that he would rather Triple H look bad then he can take control.

Yes and no.

Yes Rock should have come thru for the fans bc that equals money.

And no their personal relationship shouldn't matter. Rock is the on the freaking executive board. He needed to do what was right for the company.

He showed he really is Hollywood Rock
