I was initially thinking of giving a slight edge to Rock on the mic. But as we've seen over the last few years Rock is corny on the mic, getting crickets during promos once he's recycled his catchphrases. Also, his previous attitude era promos don't age well AT ALL.

I try to keep their age in mind when doing comparisons.

HBK is 50 now and Rock is 42.

So my question is 8 years ago when HBK was 42 was he ever this swagless?

Rock vs Austin is way better than Taker vs Michaels(Undertaker is lucky he didn't break his neck on that botch) and Rock vs Cripple H was such a great ladder performance by Rock, NY cheered him as the long running 9 month IC Champion.

if there is anything that HBK does not even come close to rock in, at all, its "swag". i feel dumb for even having to say that

rock v h was a great ladder match but not better than razor v hbk

hbk has more top notch in ring wrestling performances than rock
