Dark Side of the Moon should be number one. And I say that as a Marvin stan but that album is fukkin incredible. Zeppelin deserves to not be on here. BP and RD are not anywhere close to being T100 of all time. And I know this is blasphemous but I’m tired of seeing Nirvana ranked so high on these list.
Dark Side of the Moon, number 1? Not really a crazy thing to say. That album is one of the most amazing experiences you could have as a music lover...and it is an experience. A lot of Pink Floyd's albums are. But Dark Side of the Moon was next level. I could see it as a top 10 all time album. Better than Marvin and Stevie...? That's a tough one. I agree on Nirvana, as well. Nevermind was impactful in that it destroyed Glam Rock and led to a bunch of bitter, depressed teens in society...but the album wasn't as great as its held up to be. Not really better than 'SuperUnknown' from Soundgarden.

The hell is your issue with Led Zeppelin, though?

Quite a number of stolen material

I get you with Stevie being number 1 tho. I’m far on the outside of popular thought on ranking his classic era. Give me Talking Book, Music of My Mind, Songs In the Key....and the latter is fukkin amazing. Those other two just seem more cohesive and strike a very different emotion in me, especially Talking Book.

Good to see To Pimp a Butterfly & mbdtf in the top20.

Like many great artists been saying, these are objectively 2 of the greatest albums ever made, regardless of the genre. I just can't find a single musical flaw in these albums. They might not be more influential than some of the records in the top 10, but it's only a matter of time until they crack the top 10, and even the top 5 (some publications already have them much higher than top 20)

These are also the best musically composed hip hop albums.

:ehh: it's not too bad of a list.

Unlike most in this thread I'm not upset about any Michael album not being in the top 10...Marvin deserves the number #1 and I think Stevie should've had at least two in the top 10...also Lauryn Hill's album should NOT be anywhere near top 10 like it's a classic but it's not top 10 of all time level...what the hell is Missy doing in the top 100 :gucci:

Drake and Kendrick should not even be in the list at all and despite what many think...2Pac doesn't have a top 50-150 tier album...yes he has classic(s) but like I said about Lauryn it's not that “of all time regardless of genre” kinda of album(s).

A lot of HIP-HOP albums should be a bit higher but I understand the list is based off these writers opinions. :yeshrug:

Kendrick deserves his spot. Tpab is one hell of an album. I wouldn't be mad at people telling me it's the goat album.

Only rap albums from that list that are rightfully placed are the ones from Kanye, Kendrick and Outkast. The Roots should have been a bit higher.

Most other rap albums should be placed even lower. There's a lot of great rap albums for sure, but we're talking about all genres here. Never heard a Biggie or Pac album and told to myself "oh wow, that polyrhythm was crazy".

Eh I just don't think it's an album that'll be remembered decades from now as a definitive piece of music...ya know something that ppl must hear before they die...Kendrick's albums benefit from the fact that Hip-Hop hasn't been doing too good within these last 10yrs.

It should be #7-8 for sure but considering it was only released 5 years ago, #19 is not bad at all.
Kendrick doesn't have a top 10 of all time album in the history of music... that's just your top 10 :comeon: nor do I think he has a top 20 of all time but I understand the writers are trying to be more “modern” with their lists but nah.
