The album had connectivity almost felt like one great song from beginining to end. like a movie, just a soundtrack ramping up and down at integral moments. straight classic.

Its funny that Lauren would be highest rated hiphop album all time on this list but you'd probably never see it ranked number 1 on a straight hiphop only list. but rolling stone is cacs though so :yeshrug:
Miseducation is very overrated
I feel like it’s a running gag

I'm a huge Stevie fan and Songs In The Key Of Life is amazing but isn't greater than Thriller...

Purple Rain is dope but "Prince" is my favorite Prince album...

At least they admitted Mike owned the 80s to a degree no one ever has before or after. But Thriller is the greatest album ever, ill take that to the grave...

Obviously a mostly white generated list, MBDTF isn't even in Kanye's Top 2 and is arguably not Top 3...

To Pimp A Butterfly is an outstanding work of art though...

Stankonia doesn't belong ahead of ATLiens, and Take Care is one of Drake's worst projects...

Missy is cool but never made legebdary work, they were itching to throw some women in there...

I haven't gone thru all 500 yet, someone let me know if Solange's "A Seat At The Table" made it, absolutely classic and beautiful work of art. I seriously doubt there have been 500 greater albums than that, I've been alive for 31 years and I'm a fairly comprehensive music head and I feel like it would be tough to get to 200...

I think it would be hard to argue that Stevie Wonder didn't openly influence Mike on Thriller. If you don't have Songs in the Key of Life you don't have Thriller. For that alone - I think he deserves the top 3.

Can't argue with Marvin Gaye at number 1, all bangers no skips and the overall theme is still relevant today.

Listened to songs in the key of the life for the first time a few months ago and I was like :ohhh::ohhh::ohhh: so this is where all those samples are from. Timeless album :wow:
