Rookies vs Vets Live Update/Discussion Thread

What a lot of fans don't consider on the outside looking in is the main statement the vets said from the jump, the crowd and atmosphere is a totally different monster....Chilla vs DNA is all that needs to be said

In a small room you win the battle, it's a dope showing, you put on a clinic, you get props galore.

Yet on a big stage you gotta win the war aka win the crowd over atleast 2 out of 3 rds. Your entire everything is on the line. Not every rookie possesses that, you gotta be a special cat

All of the rookies (Sno isn't included) did well on stage and got love from the crowd so I'm not sure what your point is. Saga took the crowd and performance wise he was the weakest going in. The 2nd from Wavy and the 3rd from Chess seemed to be the best rounds of the night and had the building rocking. Damn near every battle seems to be debatable in the building which is an L for your argument. I'm guessing Prep, Wavy, and Chess win on cam. Top is debatable and Brizz maybe got edged and lost. With Saga's win that puts the rookies ahead. Minus Chess throwing up there were no chokes or even a stumble. All that "they not ready for the main stage" talk was highly overrated and needs to be deaded. The vets all thought they were going to dominate and none of them did.

so heres the difference, brizz was saying shyt like ill open your ass and stick a flash drive in it like basic ass shyt while verb was talking to this nikka all 3 rounds. verb was like ok im gonna rap like him and if you show him love you gotta do the same for me and imitated his style how he just says a bunch of random violent shyt and then verb was like how does that shyt compare to anything that im saying but it rhymed and was more wordplay but i cant rememver exactly. also verb clowned him, he said he looks the like the type of nikka to call a bytch over get her drunk and go in her purse and steal her cell phone lmao, this while brizz is saying basic shyt like if someone chased me on cam i would kill him with the camera still rolling and the crowd acting like it was some crazy bar.

I don't like to say/suspect this at all, but it sounds like (from your and some TWR callers reviews) Brizz is in that category that 2013 DNA, present Tay Roc, and Hitman (1 round) are in. The presence and the delivery is 75% of what makes them what they are, and it can be exposed by a "bad" matchup or a calmer crowd. I guess most of TBZ kind of suspected this though.

I was going to say a focused Verb is a bad matchup for energetic nikkas, but really a focused Verb is a bad matchup for anyone period.

even sagas great 3rd round and i know nikkaz think i hate saga but heres the biggest reactions he got. one was him saying look at me while im saving you, one was him going next to suge cause suge was doing the rex resting on one knee shyt so saga went next to him, saga saying smack been checking your pockets for years which we never heard of, and him saying what good is tapping pockets if you never go inside which someone said to suge already more than once. they let the rookies get away with old angles all night cause they were rooting for them to win, another thing saga does that i hate like vs prep he said a classic 30 in ny like bernard king, that shyt is trash to me, do nikkaz think thats fire ? vs suge he did the same shyt he said a 3 3 on your back like grant hill. shyt is so basic and trash , its like cassidy punchlines

also brizz blatantly stole the o red line and maybe someone remembers, brizz had a line that verb would snitch as soon as he gets a soda and i could swear ive heard that before but cant remember where if so brizz bit two lines, we would NEVER let the vets slide with that, biased ass fans activly rooting for the rookies , only nikkaz that impressed me were chess, wavy and top, one thing about wavy though his mannerisms remind me so much of surf on like a kobe/jordan type obsession shyt, this nikka moves exactly like surf on stage he prob study this nikka every night

the thing you gotta understand though as for if the rookies can hang, can they hang when its just a matchup and not "rookies vs vets" people chose sides and mostly nikkaz want the rookies they go with the hungry nikkaz plus like calicoe said they listening to smack, nikkaz aint like in the coli forming their own opinions, nikkaz are followers in general in life that affects this type of shyt. when it isnt saga vs the bully and a vet is nikkaz gonna get behind him for his weak ass bars in a regular matchup ? who controlled the stage to me of the rookies was wavy, chess, top
