Rookies vs Vets Live Update/Discussion Thread

Question for those who remember:

Was there any particular person who was tweeting from SM4 that actually seemed to give decent updates? Not someone posting bars, but someone who was careful about saying what was/wasn't a classic and/or a bag? Or am I reachin' and need to just take whatever is there and assume it's overhyped and alcohol encouraged?

Rapgrid will probably be your best bet if you don't want any bars posted. But even they post the haymakers that stops the battle for 20-30 seconds lol

I personally always follow jaz but she drops tons of bars during the battles.

Are peeps dropping their predictions? I'm just wondering what are the consensuses on these battles.

EVERY ROOKIE CLEARLY LOOSES(besides Chess)

Brizz and Wavy will be the biggest bodies of the night
Dna/Chess will be battle of the night. Chess will have best performace of the night and will go to NOME 5

I really thought it over long & hard and decided to keep my money in my pocket. They sold the hell out of this card, but tickets are over 100 at this point and I only really want to be in the building for maybe 4 of these battles.

I'll drop some picks
3-0's will be incredibly difficult with 2 minute rounds

Real Deal/Sno - 2-1 Real Deal. Sno's delivery & presence are a bit stronger than Real Deal, one great scheme might steal a round. But then it's back to reality.

John John/Prep - 3-0 John John, but will be closer on cam. Prep's projection is struggle mode. The crowd will boo one, or both. Prep's bars will get more love in the footage.

DNA/Chess - DNA 2-1 debatable. Chess will stumble or choke. DNA will have at least one great rebuttal and have good angles. But overall people will be happy with Chess performance.

K-Shine/Wavy - K-Shine wins. I like Wavy a lot, but he doesn't say that much. K-Shine has a special round for Wavy, so I think that gives him the win. I just hope Wavy's material has gotten better, because if not...

Suge/Saga - 2-1 Suge. Saga might stumble one round away, but he's also going to have one great conceptual round. I don't think Suge can afford to lose clearly here.

Brizz/Verb - Debatable classic. 2 minutes just isn't enough time for Verb to win clearly over 100% Brizz, so it's going to be close.

T-Top/Clips - Top in a very close 2-1. Personally I think 2 minutes of 100% T-Top is better 2 minutes of 85% Clips. Clips will go over the time limits if he feels Top is going off.

A lot of entertaining fukkery will happen inside & outside the event. I hope Danny Myers flies out.... too bad Mickey Factz will be at church today (smh).

I peeped that too thinking "damn Brizz stick to you angle." He was coming at Verb for the easy reason... Verb been inconsistent lately. That's all he had to ride while continuing to admit Verb WAS a monster.

Hope that hazing didn't get in his head, cause they were piling on that nikka. Something about their battle screams "Possible Bodybag" to me, from either side. If one of them nikkas lose the crowd early, I don't know if there's any recovery.

That's the one battle I'm looking forward to the most. Somebody is gonna die violently and spectacularly and I don't know who. One of these muthaphuckas is gonna crash and burn. Whoever goes second and whoever can hold on to the crowd for dear life will win.
All the other rookies will lose convincingly but Brizz vs Verb will be the most competitive.

My predictions exactly, although I'm more confident in brizz edging the battle than verb. The only upsets I can see are saga beating suge and chess beating dna

Overall, having two minute rounds will definitely play in the rookies' favor and will probably hurt verb and clips the most. Suge was gonna come with two minute rounds regardless so I guess it helps him
