Joe, as a businessperson, knows nikkas like Elliot could easily get in Rory or Mal's head due to inexperience, so he immediately yelled at Rory not to do shyt like that (his own PTSD)

i disagree with you about the money statements tho, i don't think they cared about the money at first but after seeing how defensive Joe got it turned into okay why is our friend just lying to us REMEMBER: Joe is a self admitted addict and suicidal, the way he responded to them asking about accounting is the same way pillhead Joe would about his pillhead antics, so the red flags went up for them from there and it spiralled

I was a fan of Joe’s music and I listened to the podcast pretty regularly up until the last couple of years but It’s pretty obvious he is a really fukked up person. Anyone who gets upset every time you ask for accounting is clearly doing some shady shyt and not someone you can trust in business.

Also he’s not even able to refute anything they said which makes me wonder how he still has dikkriders in here. No one is denying those dudes were dumb af for going along with it for years but how can you not see Joe was on some sneaky shyt with them numbers. To what extent? We’ll never know

With shows this is a real thing, Nd an extension of celebrity worship. People are invested in this shyt, the same way folks blew gaskets for how GOT winded down, or the fans applying pressure to Breaking Bad for a real conclusion for Season 5. Any sort of long form content, you'll really see the extent of how invested people really are..

I think it's shytty to defend someone who has for only shown himself to be a complete shythead, but for many of us, this will give people time to find something else. What really did it for me was the end of the now deleted podcast with how he did Rory for Lex birth, regardless of any complaints we have have for Rory on the pod about being too safe at times. Anyone who gives a man like Joe 25 a month for that riveting content probably deserve to be ripped off.
