So much wrong shyt in this post but I’m going to let you cook…50K a year for less than 10 hours of work a week isn't bad...
Joe was the draw of the podcast due to his rap career and reality TV career as well as his hosting on Complex and being a social media nikka early on Twitter and U-Stream over 10 years ago. He was a successful underground rapper and industry socialite in the NYC club scene. The nikka is crazy as fukk and is a good orator. Dude got a Quiet Storm vocal tone.
For Mal and Rory this is just a side gig they had other shyt lined up in the industry...
Joe could have picked two other random nikkas and over time the podcast would still pop
Joe just can't talk shyt about being for creatives or the big bad industry because he basically telling Rory and Mal what the majors told him you're disposable.

I'm not saying it never happens. I'm saying it doesn't happen often. For all the breach of contracts, no talking about contracts clauses, NDA's, people putting out unauthorized music, samples, the entire mixtape era.... I mean even simple assault can be a case. These guys got money. You punch me backstage and I can own you. They don't.
It's still very rare to see our culture figures suing each other. And when it happens, someone is always looked down on in the situation, and rarely is it worth the time or money IF you win. 50 lost his case to Ross. Wayne won. I don't know about Juv and BG. But we know 50 looked petty and Baby was a thief.
Hell, Jay stabbed Un and then had the entire industry clowning Un for suing him. Didn't take the stand in the criminal case, Jay pleaded out. But basically got blackballed for stabbed and wanting some bread from Hov for it. Joe's worst move would be to sue these guys because they went to start their own shyt after he fired them. And they'd look bitter as hell taking him to court to see a contract after screaming it was only the respect factor.
He'd have a hard time qualifying for PPP since he clearly worked during the pandemic and was able to broker deals that increased his income. They'd probably still give it to him but good luck getting it forgiven.

They already explained that.
Rory was in contact with the company doing the accounting, he was the one that hired them. When he noticed the error in the accounting, he let joe know, and the company admitted the error. Joe explained (not to Rory, because he doesn't know how to communicate) that the error was the $400k spotify advance that was put down as one lump sum on the accounting instead of spread out like it should have been.
After that error was pointed out, they never got the corrected accounting information and Joe never let them see accounting again because he assumed they were accusing him of stealing.
Is this dude really saying that because he had a friend who could step to one of the smallest and skinniest rappers in the game, he wasn't a bum?

please for the love of god stop consuming akademiks. this guy has always spread misinformation and he keeps spreading misinformation, because - similar to joe - he has a legion of bozos who fall for the cheapest and sensationalist rhetoric. there has to be another obese man on twitch y'all ak fans can consume and have a parasocial relationship with.
if you in any way attached to this situation and have issues with paying two bucks for a 1h video after years of free content, i'd say you have larger issues going on in your life and you should maybe stop spending time on a message board
