I remember the Knicks getting killed for not giving this bum the max 
Bogut isnt a consistently good defender. He looked bad for a lot of the playoffs
His impact on defense isnt good enough to excuse how terrible he is offensively
And Monroe's impact offensively isn't good enough to offset his atrocious defense. I'm sure Pistons & Bucks fans can attest to that. Dude is Carlos Boozer/David Lee level terrible at that end.
If I was betting money and I had to pick between the Warriors getting better or getting worse if they swapped Bogut for Monroe, I'd bet on them getting worse.

Monroe is still young and if he goes to a team with a defensive big man to cover up his mistakes he can still be a useful player in the NBA. I think the Bucks will find someone to take on his contract if they are really trying to get rid of him.
