Man cmon now yes them having to gel plays a part but on paper the Bucks still won’t have enough for Brooklyn if they get rid of Bledsoe and acquire CP with what they got.
Your delusional if you think the Bucks don't have enough. They have enough right now if that damn wall defense was illegal. With 90s rules, Giannis would have won a title.

They can put him on the trade block all they want Bledsoe is a bad contract
He’s arguably the best defensive PG in the league he still has good value it’s just teams that’s competing will look at his playoff performances and get spooked.

Nahhh the salaries would have to match since both teams are over the cap. Milwaukee will also be taking on a higher salary with more years so it would be perfectly understandable that OKC has to attach a first round pick or two into the deal. Anything less is an enormous fukk up Milwaukee's part.

We quit on Bledsoe once, we can do it again :russ:

Man hell Naw :russ: the Bucks would be taking a step back defensively getting rid of Bledsoe as well. CP won’t be enough to get the Bucks over the hump they’d have to add CP and someone else,we know what the Nets can do without a star,Deangelo Russell led them to the playoffs as the #1 and he isn’t a star and the Nets made it to the playoffs again without any star at all,now throw in KD and Kyrie with Dinwiddie and a healthy Levert with the rest of they pieces you got the best team in the East
On paper the Nets are contenders but KD, Kyrie, Levert, etc still have to gel, be healthy, plus is Nash the answer as head coach? Its a big unknown factor with them. We'll know what's what when we see how KD looks and plays in that first month of the season or so.

It doesn't make sense to let Billy Donovan go and to run it back with CP3 with a new coaching staff. I think CP3 is out the door however they can get it done
i think he'll probably get moved, but i think if their only option was Eric Bledsoe they'd hold onto him.

That’s why I said we know they have to Gel but on paper they are easily the best team in the East no question regardless if Milwaukee gets CP or not

The league is flooded with good PGs

If you not a Steph Dame or someone on that level it would be a lateral move and not worth his contract

It's more so the dollar amount of his contract and the fact that he is going to opt in to the last year of the deal at $47 million. It's essentially the same reason Kevin Love is still in Cleveland as they don't want to part with the sweetners that it'd take to move the contract.

If Minnesota had to give up a first to help move Wiggins then why shouldn't OKC have to part with one to move Paul as well?

I see it the way that you see it. I cant think of a team who has the cap space that would need CP3 that bad that they would take him without getting some decent picks.

Especially with cap space about to be hard to come by. A team would be a fool to take on that contract without getting multiple picks in return. I’d even go as far as saying that OKC should have to give up a lottery pick to do so.

I love CP but he’s not getting the Bucks over the hump. Bucks are stuck with the team they have now.

That’s my problem with people using that as a reason for stars to leave for greener pastures.

At some point, the team you’re on will be capped out and won’t have the flexibility to improve the roster. Part of that is on ownership as they need to take advantage of second round picks and/or undrafted players to have team depth. But it also comes down to players not wanting/feeling obligated to jump ship everytime things don’t go their way.

A lot of these superstar players are going to jump ship 3-4 times during their NBA career. That’s insane.
