What are you getting better for CP than that without having to attach picks to the deal?

Even Minnesota had to give up a first for unloading the Wiggins contract and they took on a player with a higher total contract with longer years. They are lucky that they didn't have to give up more than that.
Wiggins is pretty mediocre tho and has more years left on his deal..Milwaukee would likely have to add a pick plus more salary to make it work :francis:

I always found it pretty hilarious how when the bucks first acquired bledsoe nikkas was acting like he was the final missing piece to bring them to the next level :russ:

I be forgetting he’s even on the team these days

But Minnesota took on a player with a longer contract at a higher dollar amount and still had to give up a pick to move Wiggins. Unless Chris Paul is willing to opt out of that last year at $47 million (he won’t as he’s the NBA President for Players), OKC should be the team having to give up first round picks.

That’s my problem with people using that as a reason for stars to leave for greener pastures.

At some point, the team you’re on will be capped out and won’t have the flexibility to improve the roster. Part of that is on ownership as they need to take advantage of second round picks and/or undrafted players to have team depth. But it also comes down to players not wanting/feeling obligated to jump ship everytime things don’t go their way.

A lot of these superstar players are going to jump ship 3-4 times during their NBA career. That’s insane.
I gave up on CP getting a ring when the Rockets didn’t make it to the finals in 2018 and officially in 2019. I don’t see how he’s gonna make Giannis more comfortable outside of 10 feet in one offseason. Bucks gonna have to include Middleton if they’re really trying to get a star next to Giannis.

Trade Middleton for CJ Mcollum and get CP3 and that team improves.

1.Thats because they felt Dlo was a better player/fit ... Hard to argue that considering he had an Allstar appearance...And not to mention Dlo was their disgruntled stars good friend

2.It depends on the trade CP deal is only 2 years not 5... Milwaukee likely isn't getting this huge market for Bledsoe at 17 million a year so because of their situation they'll have to pay a price to upgrade remember...they are the ones looking to improve at that position

Easy to make point guard look bad, take the ball out of their hands, send them to a corner, the give the ball to tallest athlete on the team.

Leagues minimalizing players (running backs and Point guards) guess you really ain't shyt if you ain't tall in sports leagues.

Shxt is Hilarious

Why would a playoff team trade for Bledsoe again??
Fam some of y’all trippin Bledsoe is still a good piece to have but relying on him as a third option on a championship team and sometimes a second option ain’t it. A team that’s solid with good pieces around already could use his services
