Knew it was coming even tho he had back to back seasons as being recognized as possibly the best defensive PG in the league his short comings in the last 3 years playoff time did him in.

Back to back all defensive teams(1st team 2019,2nd team 2020) and averaging:
15.4 PPG ,5.5 APG 4.6 RPG
over those last two years

What type of pieces could they get for Bledsoe? Still think he’s valuable to a team that wouldn’t need him to score much,as he still brings elite defense and is still pretty athletic(speed and strength are his two best traits at this point)

Depending on what they had to give up to get him. I'd ask for an unprotected first-round pick or two in the deal which they could use to trade for someone else or add pieces around Giannis.

Nahhh the salaries would have to match since both teams are over the cap. Milwaukee will also be taking on a higher salary with more years so it would be perfectly understandable that OKC has to attach a first round pick or two into the deal. Anything less is an enormous fukk up Milwaukee's part.

Bledsoe as Schroeder is about to be a free agent himself. More importantly though, they get the CP contract off the books which cuts salary and gets them farther away from the luxury tax.

What are you getting better for CP than that without having to attach picks to the deal?

Even Minnesota had to give up a first for unloading the Wiggins contract and they took on a player with a higher total contract with longer years. They are lucky that they didn't have to give up more than that.

And even then, they'd still have to attach picks to make the trade. They are not bringing him back as they need to trim salary and every team knows that. If they trade him without having to give up any first round picks in the deal, then the other team should fire their entire front office management.
