The original argument was

"as long as I can still trade in physical....."

Again im not saying its the best deal out, but its a misconception that there aren't any deals on digital games on consoles
$45 for Arkham Knight is not a "deal" in any sense of the word

I'm not going download only til they start giving out discounts for not having a physical copy.
the benefit of having digital is that you don't have to drive to the store.

you don't have to switch discs

you can share while still having access to play

you don't have to install from a slow disc drive

you don't have to worry about the disc drive breaking(which is usually the first thing to go)

Smaller, cooler, more energy efficient console

and as demonstrated above, there are deals to be had, maybe not better than other formats/platforms, but the savvy shopper can definitely save money.

I'm a grown ass man so saving an extra $5-$15 means nothing to me, my time is worth more than money, so I just buy the games I want, when I want:manny:

Btw it will need a 2TB internal for this to make sense.

I'm actually surprised this wasn't an option at launch. Xbox one mini with Kinect for $400 or the one with the blu ray drive for $500.

Mattrick :snoop:
Why? you can use a external hard drive. they make slim ones.

Can't you just use an external drive for more memory. I just copped a xone this weekend.... figured out this remote play with my windows 10 2n1... that shyt's boss :ahh:. I'm laying in the bed playing games switching back and forth. I don't even want to use disks no more. If I had known about this xbox mini I would have gotten that instead.

Sorry but digital only is flop city in the console market. The majority of games are still purchased through physical. Its cheaper, you can resell, borrow and lend etc.

Anybody that thinks consoles are going all digital any time soon is delusional. Their may be an option, but it wont sell well.
